Well after nearly sending my Igo-W back as i could not get one of the screws out and had one last go earlier and out it popped. Coiled her up, my first ever dual coil, no idea what ohms it is, to low for the evic to pick it up so all good. Loaded her up, put her on the new Magneto and i am happily vaping away now on trip hammers wham flavour, nom nom nom. Need to be careful though as i don't have any protected batteries yet so just my smok one in there at the moment. Anybody got any links to some good quality protected 18650 and 18350 protected batteries on fasttech as making an order tonight? Your very own happy bunny.

These are the ones you want if you are intending going Sub 1 ohms www.fasttech.com/p/1141101 (as recommended by fellow forum members) non protected but high drain The Evic should still read the resistance,I have my Igo L dual micro coiled at 0.6 ohms (evic reads it but won't fire it ) & it blows your socks off ,with it I am a mobile fog machine

Duel coils are potentially the most dangerous for your batteries, they are half the resistance of the same coils on their own. Please check the resistance before using them - then work out what the maximum draw your battery can handle, you're going to need to use Ohms law to find out the Amps you are pulling. These are VERY important basics when using mec mods and rebuildables.

One thing i'd like to mention is that you may find you'l need to lower your Nic content. On high end stuff as I call it iv,e gone from 24mg with the last year and a bit @ 10mg even juices at zero which I still vape. You'l know when it happens

Lucky i see this post, forgot i didn't have any protected batteries so just ordered 2 x www.vapegear.co.uk/product/18350p for the Magneto Romelee the Kamry cc bought came with a 18650 ultrafire protected battery so i tried it in the magneto and the threads on the bottom of the telescopic were showing, the battery is 65mm long, worth thinking about if you plan to use in 18650 mode. Could be that it is because it is a ultrafire.

Roscopecotrain. Lovely to meet you both at Vapefest. Regarding 18650 protected batteries from FT, I can confirm that the Panasonic NCR18650B are a very good battery. Have ordered several of them from FT. Enjoy your Magneto, waiting for the postie to deliver mine.
