Hi Frilly and welcome from a recent noob. I'm not offering advice as I don' feel qualified to do so. I can tell you though the members here are great and keen to help. I've asked quite a few questions and never wait long for a reply. I've not annoyed anyone with my endless questions neither, but I'll work on that Jay Edit: I will add though I've been using an evod after advice on here and it's a totally different experience to vape with. Very happy indeed.

Hi Frilly & sorry to hear about the burglary the theiving scum bags. Its +1 from me for the evods & davide mini & protank mini i have all three but for me the davide mini has the slight edge over the others, i also have a spinner battery as said above & can vouch for those too. The davide mini can be bought from here slightly cheaper eciglondon.com/product/davide & if you use discount code AAEC75 you get it for approx £9.75 + postage. The davide & protank mini are pyrex so you can use juices that are known to crack plastic clearos, just be careful not to drop them, let us know what you decide.

Hiya Filly, going by your pics, the one on the left with the gnurled bottom collar looks like a CE 5. This is rebuildable!! You can either dive in and start to recoil/wick or take the easy option of just replacing the head. Honest it is easy, just empty the claro, grip the bottom collar unscrew, then on top of the central post (Where the wick is) unscrew the head. fit new head, reassemble and fill with juice, leave to stand a while. Vape. Replacement heads available At.http://totaleliquid.co.uk/store/index.php?route=product/category&path=64_130 3 Mins flat. BTW, if your overheating you may need to ammend your vaping style, after all it's an e cig not a stinky.LOL slow eay draws not deep tokes.

So many hints and tips! This is great - I'm so glad I posted, not just for me but because I am sure lots of other newbies are experiencing the same problems as I am and don't know why. I don't know anyone else who vapes so I've been wandering in the dark till now... My favourite for a replacement kit so far is the Evod one. Does anyone have a discount code to use with Myepack? I might just order one before the day is out... On a slightly wider point, is it just me, or does anyone else feel tremendously excited to be involved in what is - essentially - a 'whole new thing'? Vaping seems to have become a worldwide activity (which I really don't feel is just a 'craze') and a new industry has sprung up to support it, filled with exciting new products. I honestly can't remember the last time a really new 'thing' came onto the market. (Obviously I am excluding such boring and useless techno gadgets as the 'e-mad' and the 'i-pox'...) The possibilities for e-cig design are endless! And considering the rate at which new products are developed and improved these days, I can't wait to see what's around in a few years. Future improvements and modifications I'd like to see are: different shaped devices, perhaps incorporating some sort of holding loop and/or resting stand, different materials for construction or for outer coatings - nice soft-grip textures etc, better carry cases/portable chargers/kit boxes, etc. I'm sure experienced vapers have loads of ideas for good designs - I'd particularly like to get away from the stick-shaped device and see something more curvy What would others like to see?

Hi Frilly I'm a bit like JayJ, total newb so not qualified to give loads of advice like the others. However I started on CE 4's as well. Recently moved on to the evod and haven't looked back They do them in numerous colours and I find they give a whole different taste to vaping Jess

I'm not sure if its still valid but myepack did have discount code aaec20.
I really don't want to pee on your parade but with regard to development of new products, that may be halted in a couple of years if the government have their way.
For more information about it please do have a look at the 2 items at the top of the page right at the centre under the advert - they look like this.
EVERYONE, Please sign this petition and IMPORTANT Please read this thread

Re. the future legal status of e-cigs/vaping, I honestly don't think it will be banned. It may be restricted/controlled in some way, but so far, attempts to classify it as a medicine in Europe have failed in court. In the end, many, many medical experts are supporting the 'habit' over regular smoking and it's easy to see why. One comment I heard from a renowned doctor was along the lines of 'E-cigs offer a wonderful opportunity for the world to rid itself of the scourge of smoking virtually overnight, and at no cost to governments.' He added that rather than trying to restrict or control their use, governments should be encouraging it.
Prohibition always fails - I remain entirely hopeful (though I am going to sign that petition right now!)

I agree that it is at the point where it would be obvious madness to medicalise creating A defacto ban on the ecig world. However those that govern us are not beyond a little Madness from time to time, with such big and powerful enemies with such deep pockets. So as far as doing the sensible thing, all bets are off. This is why we all need to do all we Can to support and promote vaping. The more normal the activity becomes the harder it will be for ignorance to be used against us.

I'm about to order the Evod set but when I tried to apply that code, it didn't work Is there an alternative code? (The product is already discounted but hey - if you don't ask...)

Hi and welcome,,, I use the same Clearo's as you have there, looks like CE4 &CE5 , I cant say I've had much trouble with them,,I have had a few leaking problems,, but as I found that when the mouth piece is unscrewed, it CAN unscrew the inside part which holds the coil and wick.. I then had to unscrew the bottem (when empty) and tighten everything back up where the wick and coil is, (top bit under the plastic where the center hole is.) plus I did have one come unscrewed at the bottem of the inside part. I just tightened everything back up. it seamed to do the trick. Mine have been working well for over a month. abit of jucie on the battery but nothing that would stop it from working.. I had the exact same problem with one of my CE4s a few months ago - totally did my head in wondering what the hell was going on. Eventually discovered the reason (like you say) and tightened the atty / base/ tank tightly and thereafter only lightly tightened the drip tip after filling. Problem solved. A very warm welcome Frilly to the friendliest and most helpful ecig forum in the UK

.... but I've just googled and discovered that all discount codes are disabled in August, due to the fact they have a sale on. And, in fairness, this set is discounted from £39.99 to £28.99 so I'm gonna bite the bullet and just buy it.....
.....done!
