Just got my first aga s. thanks Magsvape . I'm trying to build my first stainless wick and I've built the coil using the drill bit method and all coils glowing fine and with no hotspots. oxidised by mesh and rolled into a straw using a rod as I've seen in videos, and inserted in through the coils with no problem. Left the wick to "soak" in the juice but it doesn't seem to by wicking properly and coils have stopped glowing evenly. Where have I gone wrong?

If the wick is soaked in juice, the coil wont glow. is it producing vaper?

best thing to do, is empty all the juice out, keep pulsing the coil until the vaper stops and the coil glows again. the idea is to get all the coils glowing at the same time and evenly, it can be fiddly but its worth it and with practice becomes easier to do, i use a needle or a toothpick to do this

What mod are you using..........can you turn the wattage/voltage down a bit.........that may help with the burnt taste.......

Try increasing it in increments now while vaping. Also, are the coils touching the mesh..........ideally, the coil should be just tight enough to hold the mesh & you should be able to spin the mesh inside the coil still...........

Right oh, stripped it fully, cleaned it in the ultrasonic again. Rewound coil using same method glows nicely. Rewound the mesh and inserted through coil. Pulsed the coil till no vapour. Coil gripping the wick snugly but I can still spin the wick slightly. Filled with liquid and left for a few mins. Could see wick getting wetter by the second......... And she's vaping like the mallard on a world speed record attempt. Thanks chrisjw and jcol. Super-Shiny I've booked marked that thread for later use. And this is what it looks like on a Smok e-pipe mod
