A few of the parts that I ordered arrived today and I couldn't stop just putting something together! Very basic mod, just a box, led switch and connector with room for 2x18650 3400mah batteries for that ever lasting 1 week vape Next up some tin vv mods and the one that I am looking forward to the most, a DNA20 board. Only haven't found or decided yet in what kind of container I want to put it so if you have any suggestions let me know

That's looking nice, am not a big fan of blu tac though. Are you vaping that at 7.4v? Where did you get the LED switch?

Had to find a quick way to fill up a hole in the modcase that was there already (it's a square hold with a rubber plug but nowhere near nicely centered) The batteries are put in parrallel so I'll keep the 4.2 volts but combine the mah into 6800 mah ( once the batteries are delivered at least ) I got all the parts from stealthvape. Great website, nice prices (also for postage) and really super fast! Ordered on Monday, delivered on wednesday from UK to Belgium.

Good thinking, it might be better long term if you use epoxy or hot glue though. It was late I got confused and worked it on a series connection I thought Stealhvape were quite expensive for components, maybe I am jus tight That was fast delivery though!

Yeah,
I looked into epoxy but the ones they had in the store were 1 syringe with 2 spare "needles" for mixing. The package read that after you used the product (even if it's a tiny bit you need) you have to throw away the needle (probably because the epoxy/2 component glue will solidify in the needle itself). So I went for the glue that I could use all the time without having to clean shit before it solidifies.
If you know of a brand or a solution for that 'throw away after 1 use needle' let me know

Am not a fan of liquid/paste epoxies for this sort of work.
I use hot melt glue where possible or epoxy putty which is perfect for gap filling as you can machine it afterwards.
If you are able to cut a piece of plastic to fit the hole then try E.M.A. it's a solvent cement and is especially good on thin plastics and patches.

And what epoxy putty would you recommend? The hot melt glue is the one with the bars of glue you jam into the rear of a glue gun right?

I finally looked up what "blue tack" is (not known by that name in Belgium) The thing I used to fill up that hole is "pattex power express" which is a 2 component putty (a bar of white stuff inside, blue stuff on the outside and just mix it together) which apparently looks a lot like blue tack

That's spot on then, I think epoxy putty is the best thing for that job, even if your's does look like Blu Tac.

Ha, yes.... it does look like blue tack. The stuff I use is like your epoxy putty, branded "Milliput". You can get it in different colours. I mix some to fill the little square hole exactly, flat inside and outside. It stays in place no problem and it can be drilled when set.
