Thanks tim That makes a lot of sense. And no leaking so far, but it's only been in for 10 minutes; will update better later, but definitely looking good so far. Nice. Keep the old heads for re-coiling. People here may be able to do it for you if you ask nicely Thanks tim and that's really kind. Will stash. And the new coil seems to have done the trick; still no leaking, yay

Grrrr, leaking again. Today's einstein thought, lol, is that it might be how I'm vaping ... throat/lungs not strong, easily cough, plus am up to 24mg now, so often shorter (2-second) chuffs ... could be using the sub ohm tank the wrong way? Longest I can last is around 4 seconds. Slow longer chuffs keep the vacuum right?

I often take 2 or 3 primer pulls, just to get the coil nice and heated and then do a long draw inhale.
Normally if your tank is gurgly you aren't putting enough power through from your battery

Even laid on it's side, with only one tiny hole open, mini is leaking loads. Are there any decent tanks that have airflow at the top, as that's where it's all leaking from? I remember Perpetua saying heat can affect things too, so will need to get the fan on some more!

just a quick tip that worked for me using a subtank mini, strip the tank down and replace the seals, but before putting new seals on, run some cotton thread or dental floss around the groove that the seal goes into, maybe 3 wraps, then fit new seals, pushes the seals out a little to make a better seal, worked a treat for me.

I'll definitely do that. Just bookmarked a set of o-rings from FT, for both the subtank and the mini too, but will use some thread now.

Not patronising at all. Great that there is so much advice on here, have had my own probs with leaky attys recently, and all this has helped. With me, all my attys seem to take funny turns at once, Then all get cured at once, too!
