I agree with you completely, Kat. But, they have a right to ban anything that they want to and they don't have to give us or the government a reason as to the why of it.

They could ban sales of the Union Jack and the Stars and Stripes and while people would be very upset about it and even boycott them, it would be perfectly legal for them to do so.

They shouldn't be selling used underwear, stockings, swimwear, it's against Ebay's rules and is indeed on the banned list Kat, along with 'well worn slippers'

But a lot of 'sellers' get round this by saying that the item is laundered to Ebay specifications . . . apparently it's code for exactly the opposite.

There is I believe, a huge fetish market for such items. Blergh.

At the risk of being sexist - it does seem to be a boy thing, doesn't it? Or has anyone ever heard of a female being daft enough to hand over their hard-earned for something like this?

Being the kind of lefty troublemaker I am at heart, can't help feeling it's just evidence of some people having far more money than is good for them...

Perhaps I can convince myself that it should be my responsibility under my 'Big Society' obligations to relieve them of some of it and redistribute it somewhere it might do more good...!! Do they pay extra if the elastic's gone??

I was looking for some cool dotty socks (NEW I must point out!) and was wondering why there's still an option to choose 'condition, used' ?

There's currently a research project developing ripe sock synthetic scent as mosquitoes love it apparently. They recommend using it 100m from the house so as not to bring the blighters home.
