A blind date with SID :)

My purple SID just arrived

First impressions are pleasing, except that the button with the fancy VW written on it revolves so it doesn't always look perfect, but gives me something to straighten hence comforting my obsession

BUT it comes with no instructions. Bear in mind that I have to charge the battery, so I haven't turned the thing on yet But how does it work ???

Most my stuff is plug and play as in press button to vape. End of story.

I do have a V2 iTaste express, which I figured out long ago, but that has 3 buttons!

If I press SID's button then I vape .... but then how do I change the volts or (and this is the really new scary, never been tried before bit) Watts?

To add insult to injury, the charger is already charging batteries, so I have to (yes I do have to, it's just the way I am) wait til they are finished before sticking the new battery in there. So I guess I can put off the scary bit until at least this evening

Please help I am very good at pressing buttons but I can't get my head around how to do so many things with only one button (a new psychic mod that knows what I want the button to do in that instant? Hope not, because science could never cope with the randomness of my mind )

I think it is similar to the zmax, so 5 clicks on, 3 clicks to select the menu, then once in the menu one click to scroll through. Pause over the sub menu you want and wait for it to change the display and then again 1 click to change it.

That is a looong vid testdruif (I rarely watch reviews, guess I shoulda before I got the thing, just as well he didn't hate it )

It did help a lot thank you, even though he did everything so fast! I'm guessing it is like a new phone, once I get the hang of it, I should be able to do it like a pro

Just one last question, when putting the battery in, do I put the positive end in first or the negative? (So I'm a woman, get over it!) Realised I had no idea when he mentioned reverse battery protection, glad it is there, but why test it ?

Oh yes! I looked at that mod, but a reveiwer said they got juice squirted in their mouth , so I went for the SID instead P.S. Thank you for not linking to an instruction video, even though I am sure there are some good ones out there

I got him the 3400ohm battery, idk how much difference that makes to the actual vape, but wow!

This beats a spinner into the ground!

I'm not sure how long I have been vaping but around a year or so I guess. I put this day off and off, because a battery is a battery right?

I still have to master the one button conundrum, but after fiddling around I managed to set it to 7W and then lower it to 6.5 because 7 was more than I was in the mood for. With my vg juice I disappear behind the vape! Every flavour tastes more than it did, and I think maybe I have to mix a little thinner, because for the first time one or two of my thick (5% water only) mixes couldn't keep up with the wick. I can pump the power up on the iTaste express and the spinner and have no probs, but this is a whole new ball park

Took him out for piccy, but you can see where he lives I am now 100%, only going to waste money on spares happy with my gear

I love mine (silver) too. It is so light and very cute and portable in 18350 mode.
