A little while back i bought some clearomizers type things, they were innokin ones, i used one and only got through about 1/3 of the juice in there and it started tasting burnt, so gave up with that. Just got a kanger esmart one and put it on my innokin itaste, was fine earlier but now i can taste the burnt chemical taste already, only had about 15 drags on it, has plenty of liquid and my power is set to 3.3 on the itaste. Put it on the 510 battery and same taste Really annoying as its such a grim taste

Try gently giving it a few dry drags to get juice into the wick.

Try a few drops on the wicks first to soak for a while before filling up and then don't use it for 10 mins or so , don't forget to swirl and whirl before each puff to soak the wicks usually does the trick

I'm surprised you are getting dry hits with an Innokin (iClear 16 I assume) as these usually wick really well. Is your juice VG heavy as this could hinder good wicking? By the way, if the iClear is a dual coil, you are vaping at a very low voltage .... With a 2.0 ohm dual coil I would usually vape at around 4.5 volts at least. EDIT: Did you make sure to strip down, wash and reassemble these clearos to remove traces of the manufacturing process before using them from new?

sometimes people screw the mouthpiece down too tight forcing the rubber topper to compress the wick and restrict flow, use a pin to gently lift it back up and then put the mouthpiece back on but not screwed right down. This usually works a treat and applies to all types. simon

Mine are working really well but il try that next time:)

I turn my Iclear16's upside down every so often Jimmy, just to make the wicks are good and wet. Haven't had a burnt hit yet and that's using VG heavy eliquid. Brilliant Clearo's they are for me, everything the Visions were not.

A little tip for better wicking on iclear16 and iclear30s:
Take the silicone cap off that sits on top of the wicks. You will see two notches that are cut out to accommodate the upper wicks. Cut them a little higher with a good pair of scissors.
If you don't want to enlarge the notch, cut a small slit upwards from the notch so that when it's placed on the wicks, the silicon separates a little.
I sometimes also cut little notches to sit above the lower wicks.
This way there's no way your wicks will be strangled by the cap.
Don't overdo it otherwise you'll get flooding.

I help prevent this 'wick strangling' a different way which seems to work. When assembling, I put the silicon cap on loosely with the top wicks just slightly engaging in the cap slot and then, with the drip tip already screwed into the top cap, screw the top cap onto the tank. this ensures that the silicon cap is pushed down onto the top wick only as far as is necessary.
