I think I'm leaning more towards the Riva atm, partly because everyone seems to rate it and not just one or two people. Plus it seems to be available in white so maybe not to much of a shock to the system if it looks similarish lol. I checked out the libery wings site, but it doesnt specify the dimensions of the Riva, does anyone know that also please? Also I'm not terribly sure of the difference between the 510 and 910 ? I guess once i get the hang of it I can always get a little case and carry spare cartridges and batterys in my handbag They suggest on that site that one cartridge would last 3-5 ciggys worth. Is that about accurate? Thanks again

Hi Jemima,
510 and 901 are different connection types and use different atomisers. 510 is the most common but whichever you choose you can use adaptors to use other atomisers.
The size of a Riva is about 10 or 11 cm I think, just guessing without digging mine out. That's a 510, I don't know if the 901's are different in size.

Thanks again I see you've been getting plenty of good advice from the folks here 3-5 ciggies per cartridge sounds about right for me - mind u it's been a while since i used em or smoked a ciggie lol. As lee points out 510s and 901s are just different fittings for the atties both work fine. If you've got a choice I would go for a 510 just because it is the most common atty connection and will fit more atties without an adapter. Adapters are cheap and easy to use though.

found a sweet deal here for ya: www.cavecom.com/screwdriverSD/index.shtmlEither the SD ego or the SD ego tank system would be fantastic for you. The Ego is basically the same as the Riva. If it was me then I'd go for the tank system as it will give you a little more time between refills. Both kits are half price You will need to purchase some juice to go with them.

Thanks Dell, that does look a very good deal. I'm not to sure about the flat end to the mouthpiece though. But thats prob somethign I can change? Also only seems to be available in silver, which to be honest, isn't my taste at all lol. Please do correct me if I'm missing the obvious as I'm still just learning all the different part names and just looking at the pictures to see if I like it lol. And it doesn't tell me how big it is? I did google but nothign seemed to be helpful on the size. I do very much like the sound of a tank but wouldn't be upset if i had to carry spare cartridges with me. Instead of the morning ciggy it could be the morning fill up

Me again More googling has been done, i see that the ego tank is available in white on some sites. although liberty flights appears to have all of them out of stock atm. But I did manage to fidn the measurements. OMG they are huge lol. So i think the winner will be the Riva 510, but if I read things right, they are sort of interchangeable? So if I feel I need the tank I can get one? (hey look at me getting the hang of the lingo ) Time to my birthday is getting short so I have to make a decision now lol. As best as I can work out, to start with I need.... 2 batterys 2 atomisers 10 cartridges 1 cone 1 charger some fluid - I think i saw some b & h or l & b juice on a site somewhere. and a syringe Would that be accurate ? And may I just say again, you guys have been a godsend, thank you so much for all your time and patience

It sounds good Jemima. I would order a couple of more atomizers, since most last a month or more, but some don't last long at all. It's hit or miss with them, so a couple extra wouldn't hurt. Buy a Riva 510 starter kit, to start with. It should come with two batteries, two atomizers, two cones, a charger and I think some cartridges. Check the kit, to make sure what it comes with. Yes, the 510 parts are interchangeable. That's why it's so popular, I use two Joye eGo 510s, they are the same as the Riva. Oh and welcome to the All About.

And may I just say again, you guys have been a godsend, thank you so much for all your time and patience The riva 510 is a great choice, I still use mine when I'm out for the evening, It's a very good performer and never seems out of place wherever I go, not sure a white one is a good idea because most atties or carto's out there are silver or black in colour. The LnB you're talking about is from paradise vapes, it's the one I vape the most. You should seriously consider trying a dual core cartomiser from vape escape, They hold plenty of juice and give a very consistent performance + it's an atomiser and cartridge all in one little unit meaning you have less to carry about. If you fill a couple of these and charge both the riva batteries then you'll find it'll last you most of the day.You only need the syringe for the initial fill or when the carto is empty/dry otherwise you can just top them up by dropping the juice in from the top. When your riva comes PM me your address and I'll send you one to try welcome to the world of vaping.

Jemima, if you really do want a white one, then the best deal is most likely the light bundle Riva 510 from Liberty Flights - especially with the 15% off discount code ECR69. Lol, just realised I'd missed out the link to them on my earlier post - www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=78

Save lots of ££££££££££££s and get a brilliant set up of kit from day one - Go to Totally Wicked and purchase a Screwdriver with tank kit + spare battery kit + extras and liquid for under £100 you will then have a very capable set of kit 30% off for July so VFM as well.I went down a different route and wasted lots of ££££££££ due to ignorance on lesser kit that only leaves you wanting better .You will not be disapointed.

I think the reason I want a white one to start with, it just looks like it wont stand out as much as a black one. I think the white might look more like a traditional ciggy and not to much of a mental shock to the system ??? I want to give this everychance of succeeding and becoming my full time smoke. blakey - Thanks very much, I shall def do that

Unless you have freedom to chop and change constantly throughout the day as you need to do with the items that resemble real cigs - charging / changing cartridges etc etc then an example with good battery life and enough liquid for a days vaping is advised.

It's the white Riva 510 that im thinking about Birdy, not the small look totally like a real ciggy ones. Thats why I'm thinking the white one to start with might be the best option. So my head doesnt panic and want the analogue cigs, the black may be to much of a culture shock for me to start with. maybe ? lol (oh here I go getting all confused again)
