Multimeter, will this one do ?

Hi all just wondering if the below multimeter will do for testing heads for when I start rewicking/coiling. All I want is cheap and cheerful but upto the job.

I have one, its ok for the price, can take a bit of faffing to get a stable reading.
Just make sure you get a good tip-tip reading first so that you can deduct that
From the coil reading you get. On mine it's about 1.4-1.5 I have to knock off.
More expensive meters will let you zero them first, but the maths aren't that hard.

I bought the green one, reduced from £19.99 to £9.99 so maybe a little more quality for very little more money.

Right I'm assuming I set it on the 200 marker on the ohms bit and good to go. The next thread I start will probably be along the lines of WTF am I doing wrong lol.

andy01424 I keep being tempted by a vamo from FT but keep looking at other options aswell I'll probs upgrade my gear soon.

It'll be okay - remember as above to test 'tip to tip' first. 

Also, I have a res tester from Raid on the way - connects to your multi, so that should make it much easier to constantly check.

They are quite a good little meter, I have one on my truck.
