kick question

Hi guys just a quick question, I have ordered an evolv kick but am unsure of the best battery to use. According to their website you have to use IMR battery's but does not state to use protected/unprotected battery's. Basically I would like to know the best 18500 battery to use that has the longest battery use time and best place to get them from.

Evolv recommend AW's to use with the Kick Gemma, it's what I've always stuck to:

Thank you Perpetua My head is spinning with all the different advice about battery's. Some say don't use protected with the kick as they will conflict with each other. Others say use protected always regardless of kick. High drain not high drain, bigger MaH more vape time ahhhhhh

I don't get hung up over batteries anymore Gemma and use AW's, Efest's or Panasonic's in all of my Mods . . . whether I need the protection or not. It simplify's having a shed load of different batteries, cluttering up my head with conflicting advice and I know AW's are a great brand which last for for yonks.

I've AW's that are over 2 years old, been charged many times and are still going strong, so on value for money alone they work for me.

I just use the cheap efest ones g3mma as they are IMR aswell.

Note from evolov kick: The Kick series is designed to be used with IMR batteries only.

Ok just got this in the post and that will teach me to not look carefully!! do you all agree that this is not a genuine Evolv kick? I'm not having much luck with vaping at the moment.

It's not...evolv kick has a spring and that has a brass knobly thing sticking out
