Just how likely is a fasttech package to get hit by customs?

DHL have their own clearing facility, that's why goods tend to be delivered that little bit quicker. I guess they also have to pay for it as well.

In fairness, their service worked very well when we doing our Co-op buys on the forum as their minimum handling charge is considerably less than Parcelforce/RM . . . it's for small personal orders the charges tend to be a bit hectic.

Just found out that if I keep my order under about £8 (no fasttech can't lie, they have to send the proper invoice with the order, and if customs doubt it, then they will insist I give them the proper invoice before I can get my package ) Then I shouldn't get hit with the ridiculous set charge and the 25% VAT that you have to pay on the ridiculous set charge as well! And yes postage counts as a purchase .... they don't miss a trick

Anyhows £7 worth of delicious drip tips are winging their way to me . If customs pick it up, then will just ignore it and then they will send it back If it gets here cheaply, then I guess I will get a lot of £7 parcels in the future

Means I can put off risking my mum's peace of mind until something big and irresistible catches my eye

Currently in my FT basket while I'm still researching is a innokin svd, batteries and charger. Hope it doesn't depend on size aswell ?

FT are pretty good at splitting parcels down if they think there could be any issues Jay, going by what others have said.
