Just how likely is a fasttech package to get hit by customs?

I ask because after some research, it seems very very unlikely to get missed by Danish customs, who charge an extortionate rate for the privilege of making you wait weeks for a parcel while they get round to sending you a bill.

Sooooo .... thinking of getting stuff sent to my dear Mum, but I don't want to do that if she is going to get a load of hassle from customs instead

Anybody got hit by customs? If so how much was it and how much hassle was it?

I've not placed that many order with Fasttech but so far I've had no problem.

Tbh, I didn't even know about customs until people mentioned them in threads similar to this. Lol

I've had numerous orders from Fasttech since March, not had any hassle at all, all arrived in good time, present and correct. I've also bought at Health Cabin, Vaporbreak, Heavengifts with no probs either.

dragon very unlikely with Fasttech. With Health Cabin also very unlikely if you choose the slow boat via China Post but more likely via dhl or ems

Assuming your mum lives in the UK I'd say very unlikely as long as it's less than $100 and/or not bulky; stick to items that don't come in kits or boxes.

They mark the package as a really low value and mark it as a gift.

I must have had at least 30 deliveries from China over the last while and never been stung using the slow boat, used DHL option from Health cabin and got hit both times.... strange thing was I had several other orders from them with much higher value that sailed through no probs on the slow boat.

Looks to me like the problem is with DHL and not customs ..... bit of a coincidence that both times I got caught DHL got £6 and HMRC only got about £2 .... nice little earner for them that is !!! Top dollar postage rate and an extra £6 every time they shop you !!!!!

I've never used flaming rip off DHL because i will  not pay £15 or so for an order to get to me that would cost approx £3 with snail mail. Also, i've a good stock of stuff so i'm never desperate for any vaping gear, i don't mind waiting  for it to sloooooow boat over to me. 
But, one of my impatient workmate converts who wants her stuff "yesterday" has had it delivered by DHL 4 times, and 4 times she has been stung by DHL and customs charges, the last time it came to £28 !!! She says it's worth it because she gets her stuff faster    More money than sense as my old Nan used to say, lol.
