Hi Fellow Vapers, I have recently bought some new Kanger atomiser heads for my Protanks. They are the one's Kanger are now doing to fit a few different Kanger products including the pro tank. They seem to have a tighter draw than normal and after a short time are almost impossible to use. I have been using pro tanks frailty for just over two month and have had no problems until now. The new atomiser heads apear to be genuine Kanger. Has any one else had this problem or know of a solution. Thanks in advance Carl

Funny you mention that, I had a massive drama today and nearly threw my protank and Zmax across the garden.
I re coiled what I thought was a protank head (I have T3s heads to which dont fit) but it was impossible to get a draw from it, so much that it kept flooding. I thought it was the protank base that had worn down but it was actually the head, I was sure it was from a protank but I put it down to the fact it was one of my T3S heads. They are slightly smaller causing the air holes to be blocked meaning you can't get air in.
Maybe the vendor sent you the wrong heads?

Hi ginge, thanks for your reply. These are in a Kanger black box and are labeled "universal coil" and are supposed to fit mega Protank, Protank, and mini Protank, I normaly get them in a white box and they are just marked as use for Protank
Cheers Carl

Those universal ones should fit, is the round base any smaller than the one you have removed? I know it is a poor image but the lips are different sizes, the left is a T3S head the right is a universal head. I had the left head in today that was causing the issues, but I am sure it came with a protank [img src="imageshack.us/a/img198/2100/xalb.JPG

Thanks ginge, yes it's like the one on the left! Yet the box says there for all Protank models, well I don't think they are. Luckily I kept my TS3's so it's back to them untill I get some new atties for the Protanks Carl

Wont be buying them again. They have the Kangertech logo on the box, so if there not the real thing I feel like I've been conned. I think vendors should make it clear if they are selling clones
