That said, I am off to Norway tomorrow, for an undisclosed period of time. Should be back in a fortnight, so wont really be able to comment until then as ecigs are illegal over there. I looked into this for a mate a while back. Electronic cigarettes/PV's are LEGAL to buy, sell and use in Norway. It is ILLEGAL to buy or sell Nicotine containing carto's, clearos, juice etc in Norway. It is Legal to import nicotine containing carto's, clearos, juice etc, only for personal use and only from EEC member states (UK included). If you have a look at any current web shop over there such as Vaper.no they clearly state this info. Am just waiting for an email back from a mate who lives over there to confirm current legislation.

Hmmm. That's contrary to everything I have managed to find about it.
Maybe I will take a wee evod with me and some juice. But I aint sure yet. Might just go with the smokes this time, and try to find out the script for next time.

Sounds like the rules are the same as in Denmark. Here vaping is really catching on, everyone just imports their nic from the rest of Europe (loads of shops selling equipment and 0nic juice). If it is the same (which is highly likely) then you have nothing to worry about unless you set up a shop

xs2man, I have previously checked 15-20 Norwegian language websites and shops about it (using translate) and all say the same thing. I would take an ego, charger and a couple of eVods. Worst case they get confiscated at your port of entry and you lose £15.

Aye, that's what I was thinking. Hopefully it would be okay, but as I'm travelling for my work, and as such am representing them, I don't want to take any chances at all. I aint bothered about smoking, so it's no biggie to smoke this time, and find out for sure from the authorities when I get there.
The thing is, I'm going offshore anyway, and that's banned from a lot of rigs here in the UK, so probably in Norway too even if it isn't illegal, so taking the risk would only be for around 12-24 hours of vape time regardless, depending on wait time at the heliport, so just not worth risking my professional reputation. I will find out the script though, and report on this board.
