Ok so on various threads people seem to be having problems with the new heads they have bought for their evods, and protanks. The problems seem to lie with the longer post ones .
I bought evod heads ,but I received those with the longer post.
I know a lot of people bought a lot of heads when health cabin had their sale on, and others will have bought from elsewhere also, so I was wondering is it a problem, or are we just getting a few duff ones within a large order?
I had to ask - so for others who are unsure also - the short post is 22mm the long post is 26mm from bottom of head to top, not just the post.
If you have new ones with the longer post please post your findings.

I've used long and short one's in both Protanks (mini and full size) and I've used long and short ones in Evods with no issues and same in a mini Davide. I guess I'm lucky? Sent from my Nexus 7

Mine work great, i have the original heads when they first come out and only need one head as i recoil it as and when needed. Got loads of new heads but don't use them so cannot comment on them

Sorry sammy13, but like Super-Shiny I simply recoil a head when I need to - I have 4, 2 came with each Protank v1. This doesn't help you very much EDIT: actually, that's a downright lie, I have 5, I bought another one whilst on holiday in France recently!

I have a couple of original eVods and a couple of knock off ones.
The heads mix and match on mine. The base 'stack' of the heads is the same size, only the air post is longer.
No problems to report so far.

My old Evod heads were short post and my new ones are long and they both work fine. The long post ones seem much better than the short ones, I don't get any gurgling and seem to get a lot less condensation for some reason.

Just a thought - as the 'exhaust' from the atomiser coil travels further up the longer pipe before being exposed to the air, might this have something to do with less condensation? I know the difference between short- and long-post heads is minimal, but might have some bearing!

It wasn't a major issue before but it was an annoyance.

Thanks guys hopefully it is just a few duff ones flying around then. zeldamum did you check the contents of those you got from health cabin? I know you said you were going to order around the same time as me. I ordered the short post evod heads but got the longer post ones.

Hmm only just checked, ordered the short ones and received the long ones as well.
Didn't even noticed when I replace one, it worked so can't complain.
Eta: just a quick thought, I had one Evod which didn't work and had the same problem with my Pro tank. Is the head screwed snuggly onto the base. Once I had doubled checked both worked fine.

Looks like I have the long too.
I have only changed one out and it didn't work with my SID. But then the SID was also from HC and was also dodgy.
I am cleaning all my evods and protanks tonight, bar one, and will change out all the heads while I'm at it, and report back.
That said, I am off to Norway tomorrow, for an undisclosed period of time. Should be back in a fortnight, so wont really be able to comment until then as ecigs are illegal over there.
EDIT: As I type this, I have just realised that I'm vaping a protank on my SID. Now, with this in mind, it was only the Protank that I changed the coil on, and this is the only atty I aint cleaning tonight. But the end result is that now I'm using my new Panasonic 18650PD in the SID (The 18650B was too fat), and the protank is obviously working now on it. Weird. Unless it was my mini-protank I changed it on? I can't remember at the minute. Confused.

Very pleased with my Protank/Mini Protank heads, all the long ones. Can swop juices within seconds, just a quick wash and dry with a paper towel, and ready to go, unlike the CE5? with the long wicks, which although good, take a little longer.

I hope so Sammy I have 150 of them. I haven't tried them in my Protank yet. I also plan on recoiling them, but not in any hurry.
