Hi.
I had a mini pro tank 1 and liked it. ( i gave it away as im trying to give up vaping)
Anyway, i bought a mini protank 2 recently from Vaspescape and all im getting is a strong metallic taste/flavour. Lots of vapour but the flavour is weird. It came with 2 attys and ive tried both as well as various juices but it just tastes weird !
Gone back to a EVOD now which tastes "normal"
Anyone else had this issue ?

I know the taste you mean, I get it sometimes when I re coil my protank heads. Im not sure what it is either as I have flamed the kanthal and left it un flamed and still get it. However I don't get it when I re coil my Kayfun so it has to be something in my protank. But it generally goes away after about 30 mins of vaping.

Had no problems from mine( mini protank 2 sourced from Myepack) and I bought 5 lol,but always give them a good rinse in near boiling water before use . If the worst comes to the worst a soak in dilute peroxide followed by a rinse in very hot water(breaks down the peroxide to water and oxygen) should sort it . Did buy what was described as a protank last week from a fairly well known retailer on here which was a piece of crap tbh. Plastic tank and tasted burnt no matter what I tried so confined to the bucket of experience. Cheers Richie

You could try soaking the heads in a bicarbonate of soda/denture tablet solution overnight as they can sometimes have a funky taste geedouble, as well as giving the unit a good clean incase there's any manufacturing residue of some sort in there. Have you tried your Evod head in it?

mmm. My mini davide is like this.
Not enough juice getting to the coil.
How to fix?
No idea. ???
Sometimes it's just better and less stressful to take the head out, just in case it's dodgy.

I get air bubbles stopping my juice getting to the coils when I refill. Put it on the battery (to stop air coming up the middle) cover all the air holes with your fingers (a bit like playing the flute ) and suck without firing the battery. You can see the air bubbles release. I don't have any probs after I have done that once every time I refill.
