newbie to vaping , i did try the e ciggys when they first came out but this feels and tastes soo much better.

it does confuse me though, im getting my nicotine .. i get a nice throat hit ... i breath out smoke ( vapor ) .. so why is it i still want to roll a ciggy, it cant offer me anything else apart from making me stink and clogging up my lungs .. but it's niggling in the back of my head

I used to smoke roll ups as well and even now over a year since I last smoked tobacco I still get the urge to roll a cig now and then, especially if I have had a drink. It's habitual behavior and the way I deal with it is when one of my friends or my brother want a smoke, I will ask if I can roll it for them, after rolling it I will then happily vape away. I think for me part of the process and satisfaction of having a smoke was the rolling, it sound stupid but concentrating on rolling a cig calmed me down almost as much as actually smoking it did.

hiya Chykensa .. i just got an EVOD kit as it seemed like a decent starter and the price was good, and was recommended. i did a 60/40 mix pg 36mg/vg 0mg and a blue berry concentrate ( i looooooove blue berrys) again 0mg

i have read a few threads on here and most of it made my spin but i'm sure i'll pick it up

I wanted to roll up a fat one and smoke it like a hero for the first 3 months or so.

Oddly enough, t'other day, I grabbed a mates GV and wham, bam....rolled up a fag and almost lit it.

ccmjonny to the friendliest ecig forum on t'interweb. A lot of new vapers miss the smell of a ciggy but after a while the very thought of a smelly cig revolts them. It just takes time for the old brain to adjust.

Hiya ccmjonny the folk here are ace for info etc.I too packed in 6 weeks ago (roll ups) after 30+ years,i started when I was 14 i'm now 45 and regret the day I started smoking. I was shocked that I could give up the rollies but i'll fess up and admit I have smoked 15-20 over the last 6 weeks.
I love vaping and use 14mg/18mg juice,redbull and baileys tonight lol Just take it one day at a time.It's mad cos I ranted like hell at my reformed smoker sister who constantly nagged me into packing in the stinkies but one day 6wks ago I just done it. Anyway welcome and good luck and happy vaping!

So much of smoking is habit, they don't always change overnight for many of us . . . give yourself time to adjust and if you have an occasional rollie, it isn't the end of the world.

Hi Chrissie i might have not written it right? .. i got the two bases PG with 36mg, and VG with 0mg, so when i mix it should give me 18mg ish which i think for my smoking is about right.
i know when i add the flavour it goes down but i'm just keeping it simple for the moment

Hiya and welcome along to the forum...I am a total newbie....only been vaping for 4 days, I have had a few rollies but nowhere near how many I would without vaping, the odd one is ok if it gets you back on track, I am already noticing the acky taste of my rollie after vaping throughout the day....do not beat yourself up hun, the habit is hard to kick and the odd rollie is nowhere near as harmful as smoking all day and night like we all used to Well done so far
