I'm dealing with it as quick as I can Andy . . . there's been 12 id's created by these idiots.

Could I just remind everyone that the quickest way to get spam removed is by reporting the posts

To report a post, click on the gear icon, top right of the post & then click on "report post" from the drop down list. In the pop up window just type in "spam".

As soon as either myself or any of the moderators are online, we will instantly see the report & deal with it.

Just an update about the spammers.

We have been inundated with them over the last few days. We ban them & their IP's as quickly as possible but they keep setting up new ids with new email addies & new proxy IP's. They have been hitting many busy forums - not just us.

I've now added the word k i t c h e n to the forum censored words so that any reference/links they post will instantly show as spam. So please report them everyone.

I'm also going to set the forum to "new members have to be approved by a member of staff" overnight. Just hope that doesn't put off too many genuine new members.

How does that work with the censored words Chrissie ?
The K word - place you cook in the home I won't write it just incase - well if someone maybe says I was filling my protank in the K -
what would happen?
