Afternoon all I signed up after finding the forum through Google and reading some of the guides, seems like a great site, best I have seen so far anyway I've been a smoker for approx 7 years, not heavy, sometimes only 4/5 per day, but have been using e-cigs for the past few weeks and they are great, but I need something better than the disposable/readily available items sold at the local petrol station. I started on a disposable menthol stick, which was OK, and currently have 1 x e-lites (cartomizer type). The e-lites cig seems to work OK most of the time, but it can feel a bit weak at times and I want something with more vape! I'm looking for advice on a few things. I want to get something with a big battery (at least big enough to last a day), and I'll be vaping menthol juice. I'd like to use something that produces a lot of vapour, not neseccarily high nicotine strength, I just like vapour! So, should I stick to cartomizers, or look at clearomizers? Apart from being clear, what advantage does a clearomizer offer? Also confused about the idea of a drip tip? Is it just to ensure any residue coming from your newly-filled cart/clearomizer hits something other than your mouth? I'd like to buy from a shop, rather than online, but there doesn't seem to be many in my area. I live in Co. Durham and work near Newcastle, so if anyone knows of any that I could visit that would be great. Any advice would be appreciated

Whoops, I'm saying it again ...... The Riva 1100 kit from vapeescape would start you off nicely.
And ... welcome to the forum!

Drip tip is like a mouthpiece. Might have one spare (maybe yellow or purple) if you'd like one sending. Just pm me your snail addy. Don't need it with a lot of clearo's as they have their own mouthpieces (drip tips) built in....
Welcome...yeah go for the riva or if you're near a home bargains try the 'cloud 9' £7.99 kit which will get you sorted no bother. Just get two as you'll need one battery on charge (Cloud 9 is really not home bargains but a recognized and good UK online vendor)...
Juice wise....argh I have no idea about menthol...some one else will have to advise....
Hope that helps

Hi Royaly & I'm a newbie of 5 days and love this site and vaping. I researched for days and ended up getting an Innokin Itaste vv vw v3.0. This is a great e cig with lots of variables. I added the iclear 16 clearomiser with dual coil. This guarantees a fantastic vapour. I got mine from Vapour Room for £40. Just purchased more clearo's so have 5 now which is spot on for me. Just ask away there are so many experienced vapers here who will steer you in the right direction. Enjoy

The EVOD Starter Kit looks good. May well call into a home bargains to have a look at those could 9 kits as well, although the juice seems to get poor reviews so I may head elsewhere for that
Thanks everyone

Is that based on their appearance only, or do they offer any other benefits (such as amount of vapour)?

Hi Royaly,
Firstly they came with itaste and work really well. Secondly so many people recommend them due to the dual coil. To be honest I have only tried one other clearo which was a cheap CE4 and it was rubbish in comparison.
Good luck

Just ask away there are so many experienced vapers here who will steer you in the right direction. Hi spiceyWhy did you decide on clearo's? Is that based on their appearance only, or do they offer any other benefits (such as amount of vapour)? Cartos can produce a good vape and some people use them regularly. I find them a faff to fill, and you can't see when you are about to run out of juice, so you find out when you get an unpleasant burnt taste. With most clearomisers you can see exactly how much juice is left, they are easy to fill and hold more juice. Appearance is important, but they do all perform differently. The CE4 was popular for a long time, and works ok. Some of the newer models outperform them significantly, as well as being a lot more reliable. Evods and protanks are popular atm, they give an airier vape which some love and some don't. iClear16s and iClear30s are also popular, a warmer vape and personally my preference. All of them produce clouds of vapour. I don't like the bulkier tanks, which is why I ended up with the iClear16s. I have a dozen on the go at once and have personalised them looks wise
