Royaly to the best ecig forum there is on t'internet. Ditch the e-lites -utter waste of money ... this is a great starter kit at a very good price from one of our AAEC vendor members myepack.co.uk/kits/e-vod-kit.html ..... delivery within 48 hrs Don't forget to order some juice at the same time. YES! YES! Personally, I prefer the mini protank to the evod. Same vendor, different arrangement. PS - I used E-Lites and even for a 10-15 a day smoker, they were ludicrously expensive. In fact, they are the most expensive of these types, by a long shot. Most of the mini look-a-likes produce about the same amount of vapour, so if you are finding them weak, don't waste your cash on skycigs or nicolites - they're all rubbish. You could try the homebargains kit. My opinion is that even if you only want to vape the equivalent of 5 ciggies a day, the £19.99 myepack kit is a better deal. myepack.co.uk/kits/mini-protank-kit.htmlThis will outperform the homebargains and has a beautiful glass tank, which is not disposable like the homebargains one which might only last a few days. I promise you, it's worth the extra.

Hello and to the forum, fab place full of very friendly helpful people, I am a new vaper.....have an Ego battery and countless clearomizers....many juices and am enjoying the endless flavor combinations, I used to smoke an easy 20/30 a day, now on approx 10 a day, sometimes 8, sometimes 11.....but getting there...jump in and reap the benefits....worth the extra time and energy to get the right one for you...but there are so many bits and bobs to make whatever you choose even better......good luck

Hello & welcome to AAEC, Royaly. I'm in the clearo camp too, as they do what they need to for flavour & vapour, look good & are less faff than cartos, plus you can see the liquid level. Whatever you go for, happy vaping!

If you're worried about size just get a 650mah battery with your clearo. That was a major factor for me and I ended up with a riva la vida kit. Batteries last me 2 days with moderate use. Still going strong although I ditched the ce4 that came with it after a few weeks in favour of a mini nova. I still have/use that tank but looking for something different now. Definitely a world away from cigalikes... Puff, puff....change battery. ...puff puff....new carto...repeat... And so much cheaper!

Evening all,
So today, I picked up one of the cheap cloud 9 kits from Home Bargains, and so far it seems great ( it's my first non-disposable ecig, so anything is an improvement!)
I like the amount of vapour produced, that is more satisfying than the e-lites I had previously. The juice from Home Bargains is also ok, but I will order some other stuff online so I have something to compare it with.
One query I do have, once the battery is on, you have to hold and press the button as you have a puff, is that normal practice with this type of vapouriser?

Hello Royaly most batteries do require you to push the button as you vape, you will get used to it very soon

Royaly - hi and welcome to AAEC and the start of your vaping journey. Did you go for the Myepack kit? I use cartos (in fact I have one on a Lavatube right now!) and also use Protanks and the occasional Vivi Nova too. Please ask away if you need help, and don't forget to check out the vendor lists on this forum, with discount codes to save you some money too!
