Well I've never tasted Covonia so it may just be that they are all aniseed based? liquorice I think most cough medicines are made with & menthol |

Looks like it can be replicated...
Active ingredients in 5ml: Capsicum Tincture; BPC 1973 0.53mg; Peppermint Oil B.P. 2.52mg; Anise Oil B.P. 2.29mg; Clove Oil B.P. 1.3mg
Can even work out the flavour ratios from the ingredients list !

I wouldn't use the clove oil, that is just for numbing the throat in cough medicine and not for taste as it tastes like a tramps sock. Probably the same with capsicum tincture.

I'm not a clove fan either. But it wouldn't taste the same without it. Not to sure wether I'd put capsicum in though. I wouldn't use any oil based flavours.

I'm not a clove fan either. Clove can be a really nice flavour, used sparingly . . . F'arts do a lovely one that isn't too harsh. A few drops in with some Apple Pie, yummy.  Galloways Cough Mixture used to be my thing, did nothing for a cough, but tasted blumming gorgeous.  |

Well the whole cough candy thing seems to have caused a bit of a stir. I know it seems sad to like the flavour of a medicine based theme but i love it. I cant stop vaping my Afro Dizziac at mo. New order is imminent but i do fancy a rum & raisin juice. If i can find a good one then between the two id be in heaven.  |
