Hi guys, I have a Fastech IGO-L which although very good value for money, I have a few issues with it .... only one air hole, only two posts, no holes in posts and contrary to most people, I find the draw rather airy. I have seen pictures of the genuine version of the IGO-W and this appears to overcome at least 2 of these problems namely 3 posts and holes in the posts .... am I correct? What I want to know is does it have 2 air holes and is the draw tight or airy or is there a means of obtaining a tight(ish) draw? Also where is the best deal on the genuine IGO-W (no links to clones please). All advice / opinions welcome and appreciated.

I watched Todds review of this mate and it has 2 holes, but they are 0.5, he drilled them out to 1mm before he vaped it.

That sounds good to me as they might provide the tight draw that I prefer Thanks Ginge I will have a look at Todd's review (I could listen to his easy going humourous videos all night).

He has pretty much wiped my bank account with the stuff I want to buy

The Igo L has one hole and two posts
The W has 3 posts and 2 air holes - at least that's how I understood the difference.
The FT clones mimic this (they do both).

Just to add..
Even with the w having holes in the posts I still secured the wires as you would an l.. coils a bit too low otherwise imo..
Also, bare in mind a dual coil device needs a fair amount of power to get it working properly.. will it be on a regulated or mechanical battery?

Fasttech IGO-W does not have holes in the posts ... the genuine one does ... a big plus point for me.

Still a maximum of 3v per coil...
My igo l with single coil is running at around 3.8v at present from memory.. just right!
Just might take a while for the coils to heat properly..

Do you have a W or a L freefrom?
The genuine W has holes in the posts - the L doesn't - that's the other difference.
No idea about the W clone from FT but neither the genuine L nor the clone have holes in the posts - and yes they are a pain - in fact I gave up on mine and switched my dripping to an eternity which is miles easier to recoil

Surely with 2 coils in parallel it is the same voltage across both coils ... it is the overall current that is divided between the 2 coils. Perhaps you are thinking of 2 coils in series where the same current would flow through both but there would be a voltage drop of 3v across each (assuming 6v)

What I am considering buying is a genuine IGO-W if it overcomes the shortcomings of the IGO-L (clone or genuine)

I have watched Todd's excellent video (thanks Ginge) and it has answered all my questions ..... 3 posts (yes), holes in posts (yes), 2 air holes (yes) and tight draw out of the box (yes). So I will be going for the genuine IGO-W but where is the best deal? Master shoppers Super-Shiny or Perpetua or ginge7289 ?
