Our darling daughter left today  Shiny new flat, new mates, lovely view of Liverpool cathedral, a new life without her parents, independence, her own diet, her own time zone, no Dad around to guide her, her own mistakes to make, her owns joys to find, her own influence to guide her.... Room to rent, £95 quid a week, first come first served, apply within.  |

snap i just said good by to my son only circumstances make it a lot harder to lose him. I am so happy he is leading his own life now his mother would have been so proud. just for me the uk is a little far for me to get to him quickly if something goes wrong  |

Oh Poochops its a sad day, but it's the 1st day of a new life for your daughter. My son is now in his 3rd year at uni, he can cook and wash his clothes, not so sure about ironing them. He does lots of volunteering some he even gets paid for. He phones me a few times a week to say some of what he is getting up to uni work wise, but not about evenings out. She won't have time to miss you to start with, but you will miss her like crazy. Just think, you won't have to clear up after her, no more taxi runs, no more doors slamming. Its really hard getting used to the quiet when the first go.  |
