Fasttech Ithaka RBA clone .. is it worth a punt?

I raised a ticket with FT on the Aug 22, Asking why my order
for the, Ithaka was taking so long to be delivered.

This is their response,

We apologize that the item you purchased SKU 1407800 is currently out of stock due to the production problem, we have been looking for alternative sources of supply these days, but we could not find it from the markets or manufacturers.

Sorry for causing you such an inconvenience, the suppliers is not able to provide the ETA of the stock, would you mind have an exchange?

This is getting worse by the minute  ... doesn't seem to be much point in ordering this if they are just going to hang on to your money for weeks on end and then offer you an exchange. The staff that deal with the tickets are a bunch of lazy w*****s .... I raised a ticket over a week ago asking them to confirm that they were now dispatching the mk2 version of the MVP as stated in the item description. Their reply was that they do not stock mk2 of the MVP. I replied asking why it said that they did in their description. Their reply was "Please to copy for me the description" ... WTF? .. use the computer in front of you to access the description of your product you lazy git!

As far as I'm concerned FT can stuff their goods. I won't be ordering from them again,
Why should anybody have to raise a ticket when they know that they don't have
the stock for demand, and can't supply an order.

Surely it's down to FT to inform, The customer if any problem's arise this was the first
time that I have ordered from them. They have refunded my money back to PayPal.

I have to admit Banky I have been using Fasttech for ages and never had a problem with either delivery or products but just lately their normally excellent standard of service has slipped rather badly. One theory about this is that demand for their bargains has outstripped their supply chain and that they don't have the number of staff to process the huge increase in orders and deal with tickets. The fact that this forum (and probably most ecig forums) has a running thread dedicated to Fasttech products speaks volumes.

It's not looking good for this is it. I have one waiting from fasttech also with delivery estimated 24th. Just raised a ticket so will no doubt be told the same.

That is a great video Super-Shiny and it is surprising just how many German words are similar to English especially technical expressions.

I ordered mine on 30th August .... Up until 2 days ago it said despatch date 13th September .... That has now changed to "restocking"... Really annoying !!!,,,, I've got my res/ no res wires delivered and raring to go ... Why they are still advertising this when the have no stock and a huge backlog is beyond me ...

I ordered my ithakas about 3 weeks ago along with an oddy, just had an email saying oddy shipped, and i can expect the remainder to ship in a few days, maybe?

It doesn't look to be as well finished and the 510 pin is not brass like the FT clone but might be worth a punt if FT can't get their act together.

Restocking is usually A good sign whenever I have had that on a order it usually then gets dispatched within 24-48 hrs
