gapy360 I agree with you entirely don't run before you can walk. I'm not looking at a mechanical mod as yet I haven't even tried my zmax as my batteries didn't come It's just a general question to gleen dome knowledge as I'd wondered a couple of times re pro's and cons of each. Some good avice from all as usual. Thank you.

Hi JayJ I was just making the walk comment as a general note, from what I have seen on various threads you are doing fine and approaching everything in the correct way. I have to admit the Magneto was due to a bit of shinyitis on my part but wanted to try coils at lower ohms so was a great excuse. I only found this forum a couple of months ago have having been vaping for 20 odd months now and I have learnt more since then than I did before and it gives you confidence as if it doesn't work someone on here will be able to advise why. I hope you like your Max when you get the batteries sorted I'm tempted but the Vamo does me proud at the mo!

I Use my Teslar vw/vv at home and a k100 mec for when i am out and about /work .The k100 is built like a tank and can take being dropped /falling out of my pocket a lot better than a more sophisticated mod .

I like both.... don't choose and buy everything.. it's almost racist to leave one of them out..

Is a Mech mod with a kick not the best of both worlds? I only wanted a Mech mod cuz there all SHINEY! but wanted the protection and the VW just like other devices. I still use my Vamo to check resistance and with the kick 1 it ranges from 1.3 - 3.0 and 5-10 Watts and the kick 2 ranges from 0.5 - 3.3 and 5-15 Watts, perfect for me as I'm not confident in using a Mech mod with no protection until I'm more experienced at making coils and understanding everything ect.

Is a Mech mod with a kick not the best of both worlds? Yes and no for me Gemma . . . mainly I prefer using volts to watts plus I find the Kick isn't that accurate for setting. And it drains a 18500 really quickly, quicker than using a 18500 in a VV/VW Mod and obviously not the same run time as an 18650. So I'm on the fence with it being the best of both.
