So it's 5v out from USB port and then charges the Spinner at 4.2v @ 420mAh. I wonder where Toni got 4.3v from then? I don't know Raid, but I don't see it on the site now, I will contact her and ask when she returns from holiday as I have been charging the actually battery at 4.7v on the plug and charger set I stated. Does that make sense? The batts have a choice of settings from 3.3v to 4.8v, I set mine at 4.3v then charge it.

May just have been a communication error or typo?
I've not heard of anything that charges at 4.3v and can't think of any benefit to doing so.
It won't make a difference to a 3.7v battery apart from an overcharge risk.

thanks phoenix, ive read that aswell...althought i generally vape at 4.3v so it norm set to that when i charge raid after much googleling iv discoverd vision decided to not use that half circle plactic cup that holds the switch in place in most egos and replace it with......glue!!! so once the glue gets hot the switch can fall down since ive been using exclusivly bcc's lately and probably use it to dry burn and test coils it does get quite warm around the threading so sounds quite palusible. www.ecigadvanced.com/forums/general-vaping-discussion-f12/vision-spinner-issue-maybe-fix-t4749.htmlalso ive notice when i take the spinner outside it seems to not cut so im reckoning that when it warms up the switch is moving ever so slightly breaking the connections between the pcb and button raid when you fixed spikus spinner was there a plastic cup or glue in that? incedently i posted this over at ukv they seem to think its a fake vision...think they like a good witch hunt over there:s

kingofswords, I've had a few of these apart and all had the plastic retainer behind the board. The head is a total redesign from the standard eGo/Riva type and that may be leading to some confusion. The tactile switch is surface mounted on the front of the board and the plastic button is a dynamic fit between the tactile and the head casing. The only batteries or mods I've seen with glue in that area are poorly repaired ones. It is possible that heat is the culprit in your case particularly if it is a knock off.
