Fine until a lithium battery goes piff paff poof or like water gets in an e-cig. Should I protest or not? Gotten from one of my contacts From: Globals Grampian (NHS GRAMPIAN) Sent: 18 September 2013 15:20 Subject: Weekly Bulletin - 18 Sept 13 Important information all staff need to be aware of: Guidance on Electronic Cigarette use The electronic cigarette (e-cigarette) is an emerging phenomenon that is becoming increasingly popular with smokers worldwide. On a number of occasions’ staff have sought guidance from the Public Health Directorate about their use. The NHS Grampian Tobacco Policy (2006) does not address the use of e-cigarettes. It is under review and its successor policy will follow the guidance issued by Scottish Directors of Public Health Group earlier this year. It has been agreed that this guidance should be made available to staff to guide practice until the revised policy is in place. In short this guidance recommends that NHS workplace tobacco policies should treat e-cigarettes in the same way as ordinary cigarettes: they should not be used where cigarettes cannot be used. In NHS Grampian, that means that they should not be used in buildings or at doorways and only in designated smoking areas. The current devices should not be recommended as part of NHS support for quit attempt, and the free, medically regulated products available at any community pharmacy should be. More information is available at this link.

Just proves the ignorance of the NHS. And we put these people in charge and allow them to continue making stupid legislation.
The fluoride is strong in this country (aka people are seriously spinelessly dumb)

So vapers have to be forced to stand next to smokers for their secondhand smoke whilst their vapour does no one any harm. Or you can scrounge off the tax payer for useless NRT.
It's the same line as all NHS really, BMA advise NHS and BMA are Big Pharma influenced/funded so have issued a Fatwa against E-cigs.
