Good morning all,
Right I need some advice and once again some really good information on here but I am getting lost in it all.
The charging of the battery is grinding on me now. I have 2 batteries that look the same and am not sure which one has charge and what one dont. I am looking round to upgrade and would like something that indicates how much charge I have left. I am using a CE4 at the moment.
Any advice would be great but I dont want to spend a fortune.
Thank you very much in advance.
Sorry if put post in wrong place :-(

essexsoulgirl to get a device which displays the remaining charge you're looking at a bigger battery 'mod' I think. When I was using ego-type batteries I had a couple of tiny elastic bands, one green and one red. I put the green band on the charged battery and the red on the other, then swapped them around each time I swapped batteries on the charger.

Do you have more than these 2 batteries? If not, I don't get it - you've got a battery with a clearo on, vaping away nicely. And you've got a battery either flat, on charge or just come off the charger, fully charged. The one you have the clearo attached to has 'some' charge, and will go on charge when you start using the other. I have 4 18350 batteries for my mini-LT, and I have a 'fully-charge', 1 being used, and the charger for flat ones - never get confused. Not spend a fortune? It seems to me you don't really need to spend anything.

Vamo or the MP whatsit. Will cost about £40 plus your batteries and charger (someone will be able to advise cheap uk places)... But that's your options for upgrade ...or a cheap multimeter

Hi hun
Go have a look at this website
ukecigcabin.com
She is very helpful and lives near Benfleet, so not far from you. I know she would be happy to help you any way she can. Tell her Dolly (nicki) pointed you in her direction. She really is lovely.

Hiya essexsoulgirlI was in the same boat, ruddy battery situation. Is it fully charged, will it last, when did I last charge it? So after advise on here I purchased this and love it to bits myepack.co.uk/mods/itaste-mvp-v2-0.htmlBefore that I tried the battery Romelee linked but found it sadly didn't last all day. The MVP2 last me 2 and a quarter full days on about 200/230 puffs a day. It really has taken away the worry of is there life in the old dog yet, which for me was a worry. A full charge takes about 4-5 hours so I just use my vision spinner in the mean time. I trust this which is very important to me as it's not like when you have a packet of cigs that run out you can nip to the newsagents and replace. I am so pleased with this that when one of my spinners bites the dust I am going to purchase another one. It's a bit like a girls daddy, it never lets you down. Good luck in your search and let us know how you get on.

All of my Ego batteries have some form of charge indication, except one. Even the Riva will start flashing at you and refuse to work when it is on it's knees. Most Ego/Joyetech/Janty batteries use a colour system to indicate charge level, from white to sky blue to deep blue depending on the level of charge left. Even some of my "Clones" have this function too. None of them come with instructions though. Jag. (Having to suck it and see.)

I must admit that I'm a bit baffled here too. If you have 2 batteries, one is in use, and one is being charged, simples. If you are looking to upgrade, there are various good batteries around, like the eGo Twist/Spinner, which will probably last you at least a day, so find a time when you are near the battery to stick it on to recharge daily, then you know it's full in the morning. They are regulated too, so will chuck out the same voltage all the way down to discharged - no tailing off as the charge gets low. Or you can go down the full mod route, going for something which shows the remaining charge at the push of a button. The Vamo, SVD, MVP or iTaste are all good mods, and apart from the MVP you will need batteries and a good charger, but once you have bought these, in future you only need a new mod, saving a chunk of dosh. Do post again if you have any questions!

If you are looking for hassle free then get yourself an MVP a charge lasts around 2 1/2 days depending on how much you Vape, you can Vape at the same time as its charging so no need to worry about it running out.
As you currently have two batteries it should be easy to tell which one is charged and which one isn't unless of course you use both at the same time with different clearos/cartos, then I can see where your problem comes from.

essexsoulgirl if your just wanting out and about ego type batteries with some kind of charge indicator, you can get them with little 5 bar lcd displays, 5 click vv aswell. Ok not perfect indicators but if you have one bar you know you have approximately 20% left. I'm sorry I can't link you to one at the moment but I'm sure I saw some on FT quite cheap. I had one as my first battery from a UK high street e-cig shop, paid to much but was a reliable battery that my son is now using. Jay
