I have put my new coil on my rsst and got them all glowing nicely. But now I've popped in the juice I'm getting glowing on the wire from the coil to the negative and a little between the top of the coil and the +very. Getting plenty of vapour still but the flavs a bit muted (or my taste buds are on strike!) Any suggestions?

Based on others research, I turn the wick in the coil and keep pulsing until it works.

If you're still getting a slight glowing when there is juice on the wick, then there is still a short somewhere. Properly oxidise the wick and try again.

I had the same issues first build mate, re built it and had no glowing coils with the juice in the tank, it was vaping like a beast but tasted horrible.

Hi Gappy360, You need to have the coil touching but not tight against the mesh. If you follow Todd's TutorialYou will find it so easy, there can not be a simpler Genesis mod to set up than an RSST I have recently gone to wire rope with a covering of mesh where i wind my 3/4 turns of flat .5 ribbon Kanthal, it is amazing. when you have the hang of it you should try this

Negative is fairly simple.. the part of wire between the ground screw and wick can be pushed down so it grounds on the deck.. Positive requires the wick to be closer to the centre post. You want it so it almost touches.

Thanks Dan that is what I thought. I've pushed the - ve down already and the wick can't get any closer. I'll have the top off tonight and see if it's bedded in and stopped glowing now Thanks for the advice

Without wishing to be obnoxious, I've found that it makes no difference how far the wick is from the centre post.
