Hi folks, I'm after a little guidance as the e cig choice is massive and I'm just not sure what would be best. I bought a sky cig last June also I never had a problem with the batteries, case or charger the carts were quite expensive and seemed to last less time everytime I bought some... So I decided to buy some e liquid (after a few tries I settled with totally wicked) but as sky cig carts are not meant to be refilled I wanted something refillable. After a lot of research I went for jac vapours blank carts and v1p Pcc, seemed pretty good to start with but it seems I'm constantly charging batteries (now on my second lot after 2 months) and I'm having to refill a lot more. I now have the low resistance carts which I think are worse ????. I love the size and Pcc and the fact it does not look like a real cig but I just need something a little more low maintenance I mean I never had to replace sky cig batteries (over a years use!) please help about at my wits end lol Thanks Sarah x

Welcome to you sassy81. It's a complete nonsense regards Sky cigs carts not being refillable, they just say that to keep you going back for their overpriced carts! The Vendor you're buying eliquid from is far from the most reasonable as well. Anything low resistance will drain those tiddly batteries super quickly and shorten their lifespan considerably faster as well. It's a miracle you've stuck with your set up for so long, I can only congratulate you! There are so many better options available, that are easier and will give you more vaping fun and satisfaction. This is one of the kits I'd recommend: myepack.co.uk/evod-starter-kit.htmlI'm sure you'll get lots more suggestions when a few more folk are up and about.

sassy81. The kit that perpetua has linked to is a brilliant recommendation, check this video out to see if you think you can get on with them. I find myself reaching for these EVOD's most of the time over the other (sometimes more expensive) kit I have. As for the batteries you will be amazed at the difference in performance/battery life compared to what you have been using, anymore questions fire away!

Hi & sassy81 As Perpetua has said, the more practical vaping gear works out a whole lot cheaper. Please do try the Link supplied by them. Any other questions just jump and ask, never a problem giving guidance and help on here.

Hello & welcome sassy81 Perpetua is right - especially about the lower resistance cartomisers draining your small batteries quickly. They really should only be used with larger batteries of at least 350 mAh & I should imagine that your jacvapour e-ciggie is only about 180 mAh.

Hi Sassy and a big . Some great advice above, good luck with it all, I am sure you will find a much better set up than you have already, cheaper too! My favourite juice supplier at the minute is joosejuice.co.uk/, their tasters are only 1.49 and loads to choose from, I am still working my way through the range!!

Wow I thanks for all the replies ???? I had a look at the evod but it's a wee bit bigger than I would like, is there a good product out there that is about the same size as my jac vapour e cig, and comes with a Pcc ? Thanks Sarah xx

Hi Sarah and welcome to the forum.
The joyetech e-roll has had some good write ups and I was tempted to get one myself.
It's a slightly different set up to the JacVapour cigalikes and would take more time to maintain.
I'd recommend hitting youtube and checking out some reviews - For it's size I think it is one of the best vapes available.
That being said...
If you get the chance you should really try a bigger evod style battery. (In my opinion) The improvement you get in terms of vapour, flavour and battery life more then makes up for the slightly larger form factor.

sassy81 that Evod kit isn't very large - honest The problem with anything smaller is battery life & what you can use with them.

Thanks Sarah xx Unfortunately, probably not. You could try a 650mah battery, which is a bit shorter. Get a cheap blister pack from paradisevape, and you might surprise yourself at how NOT inconvenient it is. Then you can start a spending spree on all kinds of different gear. Long & short - if you don't want to be recharging more than vaping get decent batteries - ego/riva/evod type, or bigger Oh, &

Hi. Isn't it odd. So many people (myself included) bought JacVapour PCC kit after starting off on the really poor "high street/internet offer" look-a-like e-cigs. For me it was E-lites, for more it seems Skycig were "the one". There are powers at work here I do not understand. It seems that Mr Google and his secret ways are sending people mysteriously towards JacVapour because we all respond the phenonmenal LOVE for this brand and let's face it...compared to E-Lites they are an astonishing 66% cheaper on the refills...and better too. and yet, a few months down the line, after we have written our devine testament (glowing reviews) to the quality of this equipment, suddenly it gets very expensive buying multiple batteries. Even JacVapour themselves has often told customers to replace batteries only a couple of months old. The best straight replacement for JacVapour has got to be either a Joyetech e-roll or simply a few 510 batteries and cartomisers. Trouble is, e-roll has expensive atomizers that are a bit rubbish after a few days and 510 batteries are all well and good, but you need a charging system that won't do your head in. The Kanger evod 650mAh is a tiny little battery as are mini eGo batteries. I know I am spoiled with large batteries, but what you lose in dainty-ness you make up for in lorry loads of use-ability. There are no good PCC cig-a-likes....not really.... closest to it is probably an SD keyring. Personally I'd go with evod 650 or mini eGo.
