There is an awful lot of hype around custard, the main one being from GVC. So I decided I needed to jump on this band wagon and see where it took me. GVC is next to impossible to get hold of and from everything I was reading it was the best......... raid2506 put up a link to kings custard and said it was better than GVC, so I decided to give it a go. I purchased 10ml initially and let it steep for a week in my cupboard. After a week I put it on my dripper and vaped the life out of it. It was epic, great creamy texture to it and left an amazing after taste. I was using this as my day time vape for a few days, till it ran out I then tried PVC (homebrew), Jimjams, Bazilla custard and GVC. Now don't get me wrong they are all ok but none of them have the same creaminess as kings custard, in fact bazilla must have some biscuit base in there too. The one with the least flavour is GVC by a country mile So I have added an extra 5% concentrate to my PVC homebrew (which now makes it Roms custard) to try and get it creamier in taste, anything else I should try adding? Has anyone got any other experiences with different custards?

I personally have found that I do not like any cream/custard type flavours. I find them too sweet and too cloying. They leave a bad taste in my mouth and I have now given all those types of flavours away.

Not for me it didn't Ginge, I could barely taste any Custard notes. Again it's that personal taste thing . . . there's always CCW's Cream you could try adding a few drops of, that's an extremely intense cream flavour.

I found both GVC and King's Custard pleasant enough but a bit bland. I guess over 40 years of smoking (Old Holborn rollies) have taken a toll on my tastebuds. However I have my first batch of homebrew PVC steeping, and it should be ready (steeped for 4 weeks) on Oct 5th. I tried a quick taste last night in my dripper and I'm delighted to say I prefer it to the bought custards I have tried (I mixed at 25% for the custard flavour as I know my sense of taste is somewhat impaired).
I must have a look at Vanillin and CCW Cream as it might be possible to incorporate these into future mixes - though I'm a complete novice at mixing, and have a lot to learn!
At the moment I'm vaping ready-made juice, but my ambition is to progress to more homebrewed mixes. I suspect the only way I'll find a flavour that suits me 100% is to mix it myself.... luckily I have enjoyed my first mixing experiments and am keen to carry on.

I quite like Lew and Karl (Chefs Vapour) ABC. It's pleasant enough to be an all dayer if you want - but I do need to try some more of these for comparison!

I wasn't impressed with GVC. But kings custard has been my staple vape for months. I have forced myself to vape other stuff lest my taste buds turn against it.
Egg custard tart from Alchemist cupboard is gorgeous too. Reminds me of the top of a creme brûlée.

I recently bought some Hangsen "New Vanilla" expecting something like custard or cream soda, what i got was what I can only describe as Fiery Jack/Deep Heat menthol camphor rub mixed with a hint of sweat from a turkish wrestler, so there's one to avoid for sure, but i'm still looking for a good custard and will be happily tracking down some of these recommendations

I tried ecigeozard Mrs B's custard a few days back at my local b&m. Came home and ordered some. It's lovely. Sweeter than kings and not a creamy but just as lovely. I'll be keeping both on stock.

Im off to ecigwizard next week so I will be giving this a good try, I have a few bottles of Kings in the cupboard and not a real craving for it right now, but I know its getting better by the day

Have you tried nicotickets eliquids. They do a custard and a creme brulee. I reviewed these on another forum. They had a very clean taste, very creamy and no chemical after taste at all.
But I sense you like more sweeter custard, you could try these , if not sweet enough add a shot of caramel. Its worth a go.
I had 40mls of nicoticket custard which I gave to my cousin , he loves it.
Ps I gave it away due to over ordering.
