Vapemail! 3 bottles of juice from PureVape, the first batch bought that's 100% VG. So what's it like? Tres bien, is what. As anticipated there's a bucket load of vapour, and the flavour, and aroma is delicious (banoffee pie yum yum). I read that the throat hit is a bit lacking and that's so, but not so I notice, admittedly using a dripper - and on a VV/VW mod with the wattage turned up high. Best of all for me, no tingly sensation, I'm convinced I have a mild PG allergy. Altogether, a tip top vape!

Great stuff Dave . . . home brew VG heavy juice is all I use. Other than the PG concentrate ratio which most flavours are suspended in.

My commiserations to all who have an intolerance of PG, But at the end of the day it's all about whatever rocks your boat isn't it?

I usually mix at around 60/40. What effect does high VG have on the flavour and wick/coil if any? ... does the wick/coil gung up quicker or need more frequent wash/dry burning. I don't have a PG intolerance myself, just interested to know. ???

@freefromsmoking if i'm correct, VG gives a greater vapour whilst PG gives Throat hit, I seem to remember reading somewhere that VG enhances the flavour...Probable got that ares about face back to front.. Perpetua will no doubt jump in and chastise me correct me.

You got it right. VG fas less throat hit more vapour and to me seems to make your juice a little sweeter. Its a little thicker than PG so can get wicking problems so i dilute it down a little with some purified water.

It's the sweetener/sweet element in a mix that's the coil gunker whether that's in PG or VG. Doesn't affect flavour either for me. Mine gets diluted with Vodka and it does have an underlying sweetness as Bear says. Which again suits me for the type of flavours I mix.

Perpetua I was wondering the ratio of vodka to dilute vg? I buy AG at the moment and is working out more expensive so was looking at the boots vg but didn't know how to dilute it properly

I love the vapour, its what keeps me off the smokes, and yeah high wattage is awesome with VG, i am currently vaping at 22watts, but last week it was 35 watts

Anything from 5-10% seems to be used g3mma . . . in practise I just decant some off into an empty VG bottle, then slosh enough Vodka in until it looks runny enough to me. That way I've enough ready diluted for several mixing sessions.

Nahhh go undiluted and build up those hand muscles lol! i syringe out my VG using a blunt needle and creating a vacuum in the syringe by pulling it out REALLY hard and holding it in place while the VG fills the space.
