Hmm, not feeling good about China at this point. Mid week and no reply to my request for info. might take time to forge quality certificates At this point I'm more concerned with the lack of reply. Certs etc can be decided on when or if recd. People trust them or they don't. However, sending other peoples money where communication is lacking doesn't bode well. If it were up to about £20 of my money I wouldn't be overly concerned. Sending £700-800 of others is more concerning where communication isn't spot on

tbh this sounds like it could end in tears, if a simple information request is met with deathly silence what chance have you got if/when things go wrong with potential order?

Any updates? I won't be online tomorrow as it's sabbath so need to know tonight or Monday? Worried about lack of communication from china though. Might have to go UK - even if it is a bit more pricey?
Am I still down for my 500g?
Thanks
Jane

@johanino I think even ukric is probably leaning towards his UK supplier now. Maybe he'll update? & I certainly hope you're still down for 500g - not fancy a full kg to get us nearer to the 28.5kg needed? (Can't be bothered to backtrack, but think we were still about 7kg short for an order )

Right then....
Uk supplier only.
Not because I think the China nic is bad or owt. Simply because they haven't got back to me on the one simple question I asked.
Saving money is a nice idea, but not at the expense of trying to get a response from 1/2 way round the globe if things go wrong.
There's a few to add to the list, I'll do that tomorrow. I've had the WY meet today and I'm away at a vineyard harvesting grapes tomorrow, so it'll probably be late evening when I get it all updated.
Sorry to those who hoped for the savings China, but I really can't justify taking the level of risk involved given lack of comms

I think you have made the right decision to give China a miss on this one and tbh the UK supplier price is cheap enough without any risk.

How's it going with Take 1, by the way? (Sorry to be too lazy to dig up the right thread)
