What is so special about the provari as i have read so much about them is it because it vapes different at 4 watts to my Evics i cant ever see me buying one not that i cant afford one as i could have bought at least 2 with the amount of mods i have bought i dont think any one could convince me to buy one in reality 4 watts is 4 watts so why did you buy the provari?

I thought the same. That was until i had a go on perps provari. It is a quality bit of kit and pumps out lots more power than my evic at the same setting. Now i have had a go i want one and it is on my christmas list. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2

You're probably right, but it's still hard to believe so many thousands Of people spent so much money on them and are still so happy they did. Can I take my tongue out of my cheek now? Perhaps it's a case of don't knock it till you tried it. I've had one, I liked it, but swapped it for something I wanted even more.

Two things. First, build quality. The Provari is an exceptional piece of vaping engineering. It's solid and every part fits exactly. The threads are like silk. Secondly, consistency. Whatever you set it to it will deliver that exact voltage whatever the state of your battery. Put a new battery in and it just carries on where it left off. There's no fluctuation, no drop-off, nothing to detract from the vape.

And to add to that, the 510 threads on all my cheap chinese mods are wearing, the threads on the provari are still as good as new 2 years after I bought it If I was to use a something like a vamo all day and every day then I dread to think how many vamos I would get through within the life span of my provari. The provari is a tired design now though, it needs an update to provide what we now consider as standard like adjustable center pin and VW and airflow control. That is in development though

It's a bit like preferring a box of matches over a dunhill or DuPont lighter. If your planning on loosing it, then stick with the matches, If you want something to treasure over many many years........
I swapped mine for a zen mini hybrid.

Third option, for those wanting to try one, is wait for the second hand market to be flooded by those lucky current owners who have upgraded. I'm sure the prices will plummet.

It'll be a provari mk3 Do you need a diplay? I personally don't require it. My out and out best set up is a Nemesis with a kick2 inside. If you don't require frequent power changes then you can put a kick in any decent mech mod and have a perfect device.

Problem I have is that I'm a fussy bugger! Very rarely do I use the vv side of my mods.. much prefer to set a wattage and leave it be..

Not really when I think about it.. do like to keep an eye on the battery's charge level but I can live without that... Time to start a new thread!!

Until they put a 6amp switch in one I won't be getting another, Even the kick2 is a bit limiting.
