it was one of the first ever variable voltage mods hissie, it had a small screw you turned with a screwdriver to use from 0 volts to 6 volts. its a pretty good mod and for the right price i would go for over the provari but theyre only $99 brnad new and the guy on UKV wanted £60, id of paid £45 for it like

Yup that's what I feel about the GG slim for sale.
I would much rather have the GGTS or GGTB.

Hissie, I have a GG slim and wouldn't recommend it at all. It's a beautiful thing but the battery power is pants...... I never use it.. Lynda

Hissie, I really do think a GGTB would suite you the best It's the nearest thing to my GG Grant - been using that daily for coming up to 2 years now & it still works as good as new - ie every time I push the button. It's so well made & almost indestructible. Don't get me wrong, if anything I love my GGTS even more but you do have to faff a bit with the telescopic system & pin on the attie cap to fine tune it

Cheers Chrissie. A GGTB might be the better option then.

Someone on Uk Vapers pm'd me about selling a GGTS. He asked me to make a serious offer. However, I would'nt know what a serious offer was & it does seem he wants close to what he originally paid which was £100+.

Hissie, I still think you would find a GGTB easier to use - & easier on the pocket

Don't forget though Hissie, it comes with a 901 fitting & if I remember correctly you don't like 901 atties?

Re that chap asking for an offer for his GGTS - IMO that should not be allowed, sellers should be required to state a selling price. And PMs should not be allowed for negotiation, all discussion should be in the open on the thread until a sale is agreed, then payment and postage details should go to PM. It leaves less room for shenannigans. I use adapters a lot, Hissie, and they don't cause any drop-off in hit etc. scylla

To be honest Scylla, I wouldn't have traded with him for reasons you have stated & he didn't have a lot of posts.
This is what puts me off with other forums, I don't have any knowledge of other members other than those I know & trust on here.

To be honest , with the GGTB , looking at the price they go for 2nd hand in past listings , most of the time theres not a massive saving from the £44 new. Theres the odd bargain £25 & £28 but youve got to be quick and very active to get these !! So not great on the buying front , but it also tells you there very well thought of and sought after !
