If the greedy modders didn't charge so ridiculous prices, there would be no clones !!

yeah I agree, if you spend your time creating something, take your time thinking about materials used, design it for longetivity and make it really good then there is absolutely no reason why anyone shouldnt copy it and sell it cheap.
and like you I also dont care if no one ever makes any new high end stuff cos they cant make any money out if it.

Like I said on my previous post the prices are too high, most of the mods are of the same design maybe a larger air hole hear or there, or in a different position, so basically they are all jumping on the bandwagon

If the greedy modders didn't charge so ridiculous prices, there would be no clones !! I cannot see how they can make the original Nemesis from original high end materials for £20 delivered mate- silver contacts- high grade stainless steel- top quality machining The clones fill a niche, they are not on a par with the quality of the real thing but aren't bad and do the job, I use the clones for when I go places that the true nemesis can get damaged, I don't care if a clone gets wrecked for £20 I have two Nemesis VW edition mods that I'll never see myself parting with- superb works of art I have a nemesis clone with two more on the way for use a fodder!

I agree, like cars, I mean most of them all have 4 wheels and a windscreen, why should ferrari have the cheek to charge more for theirs ?
if you make something you have the right to charge whatever you want for it, that's the benefit of creating your own design.
if nobody buys it then tough, you priced it too high, non of us have the right to own a nemesis, it is a privelage afforded by whoever pays the money.
all the clones will do is make vaping divide, otto carter 3 grand mods on one hand and cheap fakes trying to clone the same old products cos nobody bothers making anything new and the people who will complain the most are those who cannot afford the 3 grand otto carter, its like turkeys voting for christmas.

I'm not saying that, what I'm saying is they are very good mods out there but in my opinion they are priced far to high,

mabe they are priced too high, mabe the original designers should use inferior parts and child labour so we in england can afford them ?
(we obviously don't care about the rest of the world, do we)

out of interest, blade, do you go into work and tell them the product or service you provide is priced too high?

I'm not saying that, what I'm saying is they are very good mods out there but in my opinion they are priced far to high, You design a mod, you make 2-30 top caps trying to perfect your design- you make 20-30 switches trying to get it right, you buy and test many different metals for the individual parts to make sure they can do what you need them to do- you make prototypes and send some off free to reviewers to get your creation known- then production using high quality machinery that can handle tough metals and the tools with which to carve and cut and thread that wear out and need replacing and you spend a lot of time cleaning and buffing and polishing to produce the quality end result - All this costs money, these people have to invest their own cash in creating their mods, in buying the high quality materials. Then some of the profits can go into the next design in this fast moving e-cig game. They're expensive mate, I'll agree with that but the price isn't crazy excessive. Take a high end mod to a British machine shop and ask them to recreate it and see how much it costs

Well, I'd buy a real Nemesis right now if I could, but they go on sale so rarely that I can never get hold of one.
For me it's not the price, it's the availability that needs fixing.

but surely the availability or lack of is what justifies the original (albeit it not very high) price ?
id have a caravela right now if I could find one . . . . . . . but I wouldn't dream of buying a fasttech copy of one . . . . . . . just out of principle.
