Tried this on its own and we're finding about 8-10% to be about right without being too overpowering, but I can't help but think it'd blend we'll with something fruity perhaps, any suggestions? Thanks

Blackcurrant . . . Pernod & Black, yum yum. I don't know why that didn't immediately spring to mind Perps, after all it was standard go to loopy juice in the 80s before all these jaeger bombs and shots became popular! I'll give it a go and see if brings back memories of necking strangers on the dance floor at ten to two with Lionel Ritchie crooning on the loudspeakers

Citrus flavours go very well with DV Absinthe, especially the Wera Garden range,I do a mix which contains Lemon mix,Orange,Grapefruit and Lime with the Absinthe and even if I do say so myself it's stunning. Peppermint also works well as does Capella Sweet Strawberry. Hope this helps.

Sorry, should of put it in with the last post. 10% DV Absinthe 1 % WG Lemon Mix 1% WG Orange 1% WG Lime 1%WG grapefruit 1 drop Ethyl maltol concentrate per ml of finished liquid.
For the Absinthe and Peppermint I use 10% DV Absinthe and 4% PA Peppermint plus 2-3 drops menthol concentrate per 10 ml finished mix.

No problem,I have other recipes I'm working on and I'll pop them on when I feel they're right, all apart from one that is at the moment,I have one that I have a lot of friends and customers trying to persuade me to take to market,if I decide not to then that one can come on here too.

It is is a nice one,not too strong on the Absinthe and the combined citrus flavours work really well, sometimes I add a little menthol to it to just add a nice coolness. Needless to say those percentages are to my taste, others may prefer more or less of some of the ingredients, either way I hope you enjoy.
