30mg + Licenced?

I store my base in a plastic bottle that it came in, I haven't had any problems with it and it has been sitting there since VF 13 and I only take it out to decant it into a smaller bottle that I use when I mix

Nic Base is either PG or VG with a percentage of Nicotine in it.

It does not freeze.

In only goes very cold and into a state where it will keep indefinitely.

So there is no expansion of the liquid and there no chance of the vessel it is stored in expanding leading to splitting or cracking.

Some people keep it in glass bottles, others in plastic bottles and me? Well I have it in both.

That will push up the amount of Nic Base that you will have to buy if you mix your own.

The liquid is the nicotine containing product if you think about it. So my thinking is that anything over 30mg will go.

One of the vendors on here did write a post about it,they will be able to get higher but will not be able to sell anything above what-ever limit is agreed on.

My advice,don't empty the freezer

Well aren't I glad that I have enough Nic Base to do me the next 11+ years!!!!

On a more serious note, I think that cutting the MG level to 30mg is an absolute disaster for the e-cig industry and should be fought tooth and nail.

Going on the experience of trying for 15 years to stop smoking, I doubt if I will ever get below 18mg.

It was hard enough for me to get onto e-cigs and breaking the habit (and the addiction) that was evident from the 2,499 other chemicals that a ciggy contained.

However, I do make my own e-juices and, at the moment, I have the choice about what strength I mix my mixtures to and I have found that of the mixtures I use all day, everyday, I prefer these to be weaker than those I use for a few hours in the evenings or the much stronger one that I have during those last 30 minutes before bed.

Then I have other e-juices that I have when I know I am going into a stressful situation and I will only be able to grab a few tokes now and then, but I will need the "wham, bam, thank you ma'am" effects that I can glean from those . So these are high mg e-juices.

I do not vape because I want to. I vape because if I wasn't vaping, then I would be smoking.
At the moment, I can choose the level of e-juice that suits me on any given day and in any given circumstance and the idea that some EU buffoon or greedy Big Pharma wallah believes he has the right to dictate an MG limit of 30mg when they are "recommending" that Nicorette Gum can be consumed at a rate of 60mg per day, to stop you smoking,  is outrageous.

I too do not vape because I want to but because without the nic my health problems would be a lot worse....

Sorry to be devil's advocate but I started on 36mg 2 years ago and was on it (and a lot of nasal spray) for 8 weeks. Then I started decreasing. When I've gone back to the stinkies for a few days I've only had to put it up to 26/24 to get off them again...

I really feel it will only affect a minority and there are things you can buy off fleabay to help if you are one of the minority

For me with the choice between 4mg/ml and regulation or 30mg/ml and no regulation I feel we have won a, if but small, victory

I've just had a look I wouldn't be able to make some of my mixes just using 30mg PG base as ratio PG/VG would be impossible..... and my recipes are currently only set at 10mg as I'm over vaping really but the rainy day 18mg mixes would be a problem.


EDIT:  could switch to VG base I suppose, that works, or combination of PG/VG nic bases.... this will confuse my little brain further lol

Would need to buy 30mg PG based and 30mg VG based and then mix them together. Will give 30mg 50/50 PG/VG - Would then just about be able to mix some nice mixes at preferred 18mg mark.

I am pretty sure the upper limit suggestion in the latest TDP amendment proposal is in fact 20mg not 30mg and would only be available in very small sealed capsules (with very limited flavours & no menthol).

When you consider the NRT Chewing Gum are 4mg each and you are allowed to use up to 15 a day IE 60mg daily, cutting what we are allowed is a bit one sided.
