Help - I've just had to bin my i-clear 30

I suddenly disappeared - I'm so, so, so, so sorry to be so rude.
I had to rush off to deal with a family crisis eighty miles away
But now I'm back to say a thousand thanks for all the help and suggestions
especially freefrom who sent me a replacement tube. What an ace guy. Thanks freefrom.
I'm now enjoying my wobbly top again.

YVW liz  ....  I'm glad to hear that you got your iclear up and running again ....  I have always been a firm believer in karma .. what goes around, comes around   ... I would hope that if I needed a part and someone had one going spare that they would help me out.

Totally agree mate ... It's that kind of helpful attitude that makes this such a great forum to be part off as many members are happy to go that extra mile to help.

I have been a member of many different types of forums over the years and left them all for the same reason .... Because they ended up full of know it all cleaky windup merchants that took great pleasure in belittling others that asked what they considered stupid questions.

We are all here to learn in some shape or form and everyone starts at bottom at some point so it's obvious that you will keep getting the same "stupid" questions .... the difference is most of us can answer them now because we never got slated in the early days when it was us asking them.

To me this is what a forum is all about

So the replacement coils on those Mini Davide clearomizers don't have wicks in them?

Are they using some sort of different system?

They are a bottom coil atty and have a very small wick ... see this link

These mini davides are getting good reviews from alot of people on here lately (i have stopped vaping for a about 4 months and im just getting back into it). So is this bottom coil atty and small wick the future now?

I was thinking about ordering about 5 innokin iclear 16's for my itaste vv but everyone seems to be talking about the davide now, so im not so sure.

Is the mini kanger pro tank 2 the same kind of thing as the davide...bottom coil atty also?

teee - the Protank and Davide are very similar in look and technology. They both use similar (if not identical - someone will correct me no doubt!) atomiser heads, which can easily be recoiled yourself if you have a mind to.
The heads work out at about £2.50 each, and last a good week to ten days with average usage, depending on what type of juice you use of course.
The big advantage for you is that they both have glass tanks, so aren't affected by the juice put in them.
They have a good flavour and vapour production, and are becoming very popular now; all the main vendors sell them at around £12-14 for the Protanks and a bit more for the Davide (Which I have yet to try, BTW).

I am a HUGE iclear fan, both 16 and 30 ... They give a warmer vape than the bottom coil clearos and the draw is not as airy as the Kanger Protank or the Davides which are bottom coil. The future seems to be heading towards dual coil (the iclears have always been dual coil but the latest Protanks and Davides are also dual coil).It also seems to heading towards enclosed wicks (the new iclear 30S and the Aspire for example).
I recently purchased one of the new Aspire dual bottom coil clearos which has one of the new enclosed wick atties to see how it performed against the standard iclear 30 and I posted a review thread here which you might find interesting:
