I wont be so forgiving I phoned them to ask about the ohm's on the innokin iclear16's and if the ones they had in stock would fit my itastevv (as the website said they were meant for an itaste vv/vw v3) Whoever i spoke to wasnt very helpful or knowledgable. He didnt know if they would work on my itaste vv, he said "you can try but they might not fire properly" because they are 2.0 ohm. He also then suggested i should buy the 1.5 ohm coil head pack ASWELL Why not just give me the right coil heads for the right clearo for the correct itaste vv? I didnt order from them because i thought that was shocking customer service to be honest. Not quite sure as to why this post is on here but I will answer to your questions, the call was received by myself,( I suppose that just proves how much knowledge I have on e cigs) you asked me if the iclear 16 dual coil clearomiser was suitable for your ego battery not mentioning if you had an itaste vv I replied it is not recommended as the iclear 16's we stock have 2.o ohm coils fitted as standard but we do stock the 1.5 ohm coils which will be more suited for your ego battery and wasn't sure if the ego battery you had would be suitable for the 2.0 ohm dual coil clearo. that was the best answer I could give to your enquiry and at no time did I ask you to buy the clearo and the extra pack of coils. perhaps there was a misunderstanding along the line. Ash
Well no I only have one device and it isnt an EGO so i know i didn't say i had one of those. I have never even owned an EGO battery, i've only ever had an itaste vv. This isnt a big issue and im not trying to slate you or your company but i know exactly how that conversation went and why i called in the first place. Why would i call and ask about a battery i dont own? You did say "they might not fire" and you did say "the 1.5ohm coils would work and i could buy them separately" which is why i didn't bother buying anything because i thought it was cheeky. Never mind it seems you misunderstood and that can happen to anyone. Personally i think you should know your products better so you can offer the best advice in a very confusing market for newbies like me. Thanks Tee

I disagree
This is a confusing market for a newbie like me, with clones and fakes about, i like to make sure im getting the right product and that it will actually work. If the vendor doesnt have good product knowledge then who will?!

I didnt order from them because i thought that was shocking customer service to be honest. I think you're being ever so slightly harsh on that one.. Why should a vendor open a packet of heads to send you an alternative resistance head for free? They were only advising that you may prefer to order the 1.5ohm heads as an alternative to try? After all, the lower the resistance, the less power it will take to get it working! That's nowhere near shocking customer service.. I'd be happy with them trying to help.. They weren't holding you at gunpoint.. or were they? Might have sounded harsh but i made the phone call and its how i felt afterwards. I did not ask them to send me any alternative resistance head for free. I just wanted the correct resistance head for my device. End of the day an iclear16 is desgined to work on an itaste vv. I was already paying for the whole unit so why should i have to buy separate heads?! They were not advising me that i "may prefer the 1.5 ohm head" they were saying "we don;t know if these heads will work.......but you can try......or you can buy more heads" So pay £2.99 for a clearo, it might not work, but dont worry......you can pay more money and then it will work...... Still doesnt sound good to me. To me that's pretty poor and i will stick with it being poor customer service.

What size battery are you using with the Vamo currently? I only ask because a Vamo in 18350 mode is not a great deal taller than a ego 650 with a clearo on it. A lot wider yes but not a great deal taller. Obviously in 18650 its light saber handle territory. A spinner/itaste mini/twist are actually a tad taller. I use a zmax mini for my out and about kit - hardly subtle and sonic screw driver territory admittedly but more pocket sized in terms of length than the itaste and twist I used to use - I also prefer a slightly wider device in my hand lol Think it has a 18650 in it, a friend of mine got it for me, but it big! People keep saying to me that an itaste vv + an iclear16 on the end isnt big but i think it is huge! Its almost twice the size of a normal cigarette lol EDIT: i just checked and it is actually LONGER than 2 cigarettes standing one on top of the other!!

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone
I think i have narrowed it down to getting a genuine kanger 650 mah with an EVOD, i think the size of the total device would be quite small?
(it certainly looks it in the pictures anyway! lol)

Cheers That doesnt look too bad in terms of length also, but its hard to tell from the picture. Is it a smaller device like the one i linked above from fast tech?

Thanks How good are they though? They seem a little "gimmicky" and im not sure how well they will actually perform and give a decent vape?

You can get 650 spinners which are shorter, but personally I would always go for the larger ones, if I am in that kind of price range. The 650 kanger batteries are pretty sturdy. Some of the cheap 650 ego batteries out there do break down very quickly, but that isn't because they are 650mah it is because they are low quality. If you want smaller than an evod/i16 on a 650, then you should look at keyring sizes with cartos. Personally I have never needed to go that small, so I have no idea which are good and which aren't. All I can say is that a 650 evod battery is ALOT smaller than a vamo Thanks i had previously been looking at this one: www.fasttech.com/products/1403309But i was told by someone else that they arent even genuine ego's and are clones and probably wouldnt last very long? Where can i go to get the genuine products from please? seems like healthcabin and fast tech are both now unable to ship batteries via normal post and once you got with DHL etc the cost goes up quite alot. Does the actually size of the batter 650 mah, 900 mah, 1100 mah, 1300 mah actually also mean the battery is longer and also the whole device would then be longer?

A 650mah evod battery with an evod or an iClear16 on top is perfect for out and about vaping. The Evod batteries come in higher mah too if you need it. You can go for a spinner or a twist if you want VV, but I prefer small and colour coordinated when out and save the big guns for home Just make sure the ohm of your clearo is perfect if you go for a non-vv option. The evod batteries give out a fairly even 3.7v, a normal ego battery starts out a lot higher and then tapers. Thanks I have some iclear16's and they are quite long in length too, so i think any device/battery i add them to would make the whole thing look quite alot longer? Are the 650 mah batteries any good? I have been told they are quite rubbish and will probably break down on me quite fast? The spinner twist with VV is also quite a long battery, if i got that and added an iclear16 wouldnt that make the whole e-cig quite big?

Hi i am looking for a smaller e-cig that i can use when i am not at home.
I already have a vamo v5 for the house but it is too big for me to carry around when i am out. Can anybody give me some suggestions about what a good smaller e-cig i should get?
I have my vamo5 with a vivi nova (1.5 ml) on top and the clearo and the battery does make it quite large in size.
Are there smaller batteries and smaller clearomizers that are still good and perform well?
Thanks

paulmlpss - looking at the 'evod' you bought, I feel fairly sure it is a clone of the kanger. I've got 7 clones, and 2 of them leak around the window (only slightly) - genuine Kanger ones tend not to leak. If it does leak, don't let it put you of evods - just get a genuine Kanger one - hopefully, you'll have a non leaking on though. If you get Protank (or mini), they use the same heads as the evods. - I love my protanks. I have been thinking about getting a mini protank 2 (aswell as some new iclear16's) as i have heard so many good things about them, but where do you get the genuine ones from then? I hear warnings about clones all over the place now but people are also saying its hard to tell the difference? Thanks
