Just had a read of your thread, firstly well done on doing something you love. Secondly what were them 2 massive copper mods in the opening pictures. Unfortunately very unlikely I'll ever get up your area but what your doing looks great. Now when is your website going up? +1 on that

Thanks, the copper mods were a couple of delogoed Chiyou clones. i closed the website down recently as there are plenty of others offering mail order and I'm busy in the shop all day.

Well after much messing around to ensure I had the correct revised chips (the first ones Evolv made has some issues - oops) I could finally start putting some DNA40 mods together today. Will be testing them tomorrow then ready to go into the shop.

I took the old USB board out and didn't bother replacing it, Which left me a little more room to fit everything else back in.

Did you do a complete re-wire , or can that back board be used ?

It took both the boards out, the switches cons pins hold the inner board in place. Added switch wires and longer battery pos wires. I also added a rubber strip to insulate the Up down pins from the board. So got quite tight on space.
