Some batteries don't cut off when fully charged, e.g. the Rivas (well I don't think they do). According to the iTaste VV 3.0 manual, the iTaste battery does. Can anyone confirm this please. Also, it uses a mini USB cable. Now I have another mini USB cable which is plugged into the wall to charge my Blackberry phone. Can I plug the battery into that, instead of charging from the PC?

I can confirm that the charging (green) light goes out when the itaste is fully charged, but I can't say for sure that it is no longer drawing power from the USB cable. However, I would assume it doesn't - but that's not to say you can leave it unattended!
I'm pretty sure the charger thing is fine, but someone with more technical knowledge than me can give better advice. It depends on power outputs I believe...

I've charged my itaste with a couple of different chargers and charged other things with the itaste charger - depends which charger is where and what needs charging! I usually charge from the wall at home and PC at work and can confirm that the light goes out when fully charged although the V3 seem to flash a cycle through all its colours to let you know when charging is complete.
