Right this moment, after only 4 days meddling- I'm disbelieving that vaping could ever become a pleasant hobby!!
Tomorrow is another day, I'll be parked outside Asda at 10am ready to hammer on the doors

lol. if asda dont have it try the chemists. Some asda stores have chemist departments, but you might have to ask several times as its known as different things usually glycerin, care liquid or vegetable glycerin. tell em its for sore throats lol
apparently VG liquid makes juice a little sweeter but i havent noticed much diff. you might to mix it with another flavour or some sweetner (ethyl maltol)

You can get glycerine at any good chemist - as has been pointed out before its a sore throat remedy.
To be fair it probably won't make the JJ menthol taste much better - its insanely strong stuff and I can't vape it for long periods and I liked menthol fags lol - it will however reduce the nicotine in the mix and ease the throat hit which might help.
You might be better trying to get something presteeped like a Hangseng or Dekang juice (although they are high PG content) - if you are desperate pm me your addy and an idea of what kind of flavours you like and I'll pop you a bottle of something nice that is ready to vape - this lark is meant to be pleasurable honest!

Thanks again for advice, this morning JJ menthol was fine for staving off cravings - whereas last night it tasted hideously bitter? I've tried the blueberry home&bargain juice and its still dreadful!! perfumy with soapy aftertaste? Pure revolting. I'm getting more practice cleaning out my clearomiser Today's decision needs to be: of my 4 JJ juices, only 5 days old I've tried peach, its not very palatable yet and i'm on the menthol full time, which is a tad eye-watering, so the other pair are Caramel and/or Vanilla. Anyone have a clue which might be best to crack into? My clearomiser holds 1.6ml so to add glycerine into my 100%pg liquid do I add 0.5 ( 1 tiny bar?) or literally just a drop? Trial and error I suppose, start little & see how it goes.....

Morning hope you get on better today it is worth it in the end lol. With your jj juice you could try caramel and menthol mixed and add about .10ml of vg so yes a drop at a time. The peach does take a time to mature so doubt if it's ready yet I'm very new to this too and experiment is all I can suggest seems there's no right or wrong just whatever works here's hoping you have a good day today.

Trial and error I suppose, start little & see how it goes..... If it were me, I'd try the caramel. Should have a sweeter flavour to it. My favourite juice so far is butterscotch which is sort of similar to caramel. I can take the fruity flavours but don't get as much enjoyment from them as I do from the butterscotch. I've let a number of people have a go at vaping my butterscotch and no-one yet has said they didn't like it, and I've ended up ordering them bottles of the stuff along with my own. As for the plastic clearomisers, I've used them for 5 months but last week I got the Kanger protank mini 2 and have found a huge difference both in the vaping experience itself and the flavour of the juices. The Kanger has a pyrex glass tube and it's also not got a plastic tip. I started a friend of mine off on vaping 2 weeks ago and he just could not get on with it at all, so I let him have a few puffs on my Kanger 3 days ago and he's now vaping away on his own Kanger without any problems. He had given up using his before this.

I have glycerin!! ..why didn't I think of buying syringes whilst I was out? now I'm struggling to pour oh this is all such a lark! its all feeling a bit 'Faulty Towers' I have 2 clearomisers ( from 2 starter kits) and I'm starting to suspect that one's tasting burnt its only been 4 days (with 2) so I'm dreading that I'll need to buy a trillion clearomisers I have got a pass through device I haven't opened, am wondering about trying a glass clearomiser, but then I get all terrified at concept of heads and coils and wotnots and spending more money, i'ts enough to turn me to drink!!

Before you take a slurp of your vodka Pepperty, decant a small amount of VG into a cup then dilute it with a splash of voddie . . . mix, then you'll find it easier to pour.

Thanks perpetua, I've managed to slip a drop or two in, taking Toots advice I've gone for caramel. As its already 100% pg I've slipped 2 drips of glycerine in and shaken. Its ok? but suspect i've toasted this clearomiser (as its still funky tasting) I'll try a new clearomiser and compare the two Here goes >>>>>

Throwaway clearomisers should last a lot longer than 4 days so I don't suspect that the burnt taste is due to it being worn out. I often used to get burnt tastes with my plastic clearomisers which was horrible, not experiencing that with the Kanger much to my delight.
There's no need to be terrified about changing the coil heads in the Kanger. It is sooooooo simple to do. You just unscrew it, take it out, and screw in a new one. You can watch videos on YouTube on changing the coil heads and you will see just how easy it is. When you buy the Kanger Protank Mini 2, you get 2 coil heads with it and then you can buy the replacement heads at 5 for a tenner online, so the expense is minimal.
Oh, and I forgot to say in my last reply, when a flavour sort of goes a bit tasteless at times I find it is normally because I have vaped that particular flavour for too long a period, which often happens because I sooooo love the butterscotch. So what I do then is switch to another flavour for an hour or two and then go back to my favourite butterscotch one, and voila the taste comes back again. Also it helps to drink water when you are a vaper.

+1for protank mini the coils are so easy to clean soak in bicarbonate rinse dry and reuse. I use another one while waiting for the 1st to dry. Still using the original ones after 4 or 5 weeks with no probs so far

New clearomiser, and yes Toots, there's still a tang of ? melted plastic/wet washing coming through, I'm starting to suspect that I'm as hypersensitive to taste as I am generally. I am getting a slight caramel taste on exhaling and its pleasant - may suit me well. I'm suspecting that toffees, caramels, butterscotch flavours might appeal to me more than fruits which remind me of dodgy perfume/parma violet sweets!! Am starting to fancy glass clearomisers (can always use plastic if I'm out and about) its worth trying, after all I have just been paid this month... As for taste, I basically haven't tasted much all week
