Extra tip, if your Fogger is flooding, as mine did, a lot: trim the wick ends about 7-8mm outside the chamber, rather than flush with the walls. Then fold the ends back over and tuck them down onto the deck. They will soak up any stray juice that might otherwise drain into the airway. You can do this with either cotton or silica. Obviously not with a mesh wick, but very few people have reported success with the stock mesh wicks at all.

Have rewicked with a double wrap of 2mm silica and removed oring and it seems to be wicking ok without flooding. I seem to be getting a rushing noise when vaping both with the mesh wick and the new one is this normal as getting put off by it have adjusted the air control but makes no difference.

You may find it's coming from the drip tip, as it's a tad loose......try wrapping a bit of plumbers tape under the drip tip o-ring.

After packing my fogger away for 2 weeks, I've now got it back out for another attempt.....firstly, I've wrapped a bit of plumbers tape under the drip tip o-ring & it seems to have cured the airy, whistling problem.......used 2 x 2mm silica with 4 wraps of 0.20 kanthal & it comes out at 1.9 ohms......the top wick, I've trimmed off at the outside edge of the channels......the lower wick, I've left an overhang of 2-3mm protruding out either side.....I replaced the stupid white o-ring with a thicker one & put that above the wick.....I then pulled the cotton wool heads off 2 baby buds & packed out the base either side.......put a bit of juice on the wicks & pulsed it 3 or 4 times.......put it all back together, filled with juice & let it stand for a couple of minutes.......I'm now getting a much better vape from it.....no leaks, no gurgles & improved taste......still early days though.

Nice one peeps, but I would definitely recommend giving the micro coil and cotton a go. I haven't noticed and severe whistling noise on mine, but do get a bit of popping off the coil but at least I know it's well saturated! I found twin 3mm Silica gave some dry hits so 2mm seems to be the way forward, if you do get flooding to u could try 2.5, that was going to be my next stop.

This atty has proved quite unique, as everyone seems to have their own favourite set up, of which there are many.....

Added a bit of cotton wool but still got a bit of a burnt taste , looking at the coill it looks a bit burnt so maybe I will recoil tomorrow. but no flooding and have sorted the windy noise by closing the air holes by about 50%

Cotton wool with a standard 1.8ohm coil works perfectly for me. I've removed the O-ring above the wick, as I find that the cotton wool expands and fills the gaps perfectly without it. I just trim the cotton as flush as I can get it and drip a bit of liquid onto the coil before putting the chimney on to help the initial wicking.
I absolutely love this thing, by far my best purchase to date (second best is Red Astaire from T-Juice). Can't wait for my vamo to turn up so I can have even more fun with it. It's only running on a standard ego 900mah battery at the moment and it's this good. Just need a nice dripper and I think I'm sorted (for now...)

And as john said prime the wick before you put the chimney back on so the cotton starts to swell, also leave it for a bibit once initially filled to ensure the wick has stacked up as much as poss. I left mine overnight (thats that's. Me being over cautious!)

Recoiled again with just cotton but still get the strange taste, would it be worthwhile boiling the stainless parts.

Cleaned, recoiled and juiced up ready. Will leave it for a while for wick to soak juice then see how we get on.
