Okay then, I count no less than five different things I've (maybe) been doing wrong. I imagine at least some of that lot should give me some scope for improvement. Thanks Rom

Would you recommend these Super-Shiny? I haven't got a tank style rba and was interested in this, a Magoo or Terminator. What would you recommend?

Like Super-Shiny says the fogger is a little bit difficult to get working properly, the build itself is quite straight forward but it does sometime go dry, so it's a question of setting your airflow just right as this affects the juice flow too. I struck fairly lucky with my first build of folded over 3mm Silica, but occasionally get a dry hit. Going to try folded over 2.5mm next as see what that's like. Rsst is a great first rba Genesis style very easy. Can't comment on the magoo or terminator as haven't tried these

gapy360 read somewhere that getting a 3mm diamond tip drill bit and making the feed hole bigger it makes it better, basically gotta make the hole into a 3mm half moon....supposedly stops the dry hits.

I'm starting to get used to recoiling Novas and Protanks, which is why I thought maybe a Fogger or Terminator would be ideal for me.

Just seen this must have missed it yesterday, that makes massive sense I have been thinking along the lines of making the holes bigger. Think I'm going to try 2.5mm first and cotton/micro coil to see what that does before I start "modding" it

Thought I'd post a pic of my micro coil and cotton. Once the chimney is on I cut the wick pretty flush and push the last bits flush with the feed hole

Just got the fogger and stuck it on my zmax and got low load, took out wick and recoiled reassembled and still low load, recoiled again and same any hints as to why this is happening coil looks neat and is not touching bottom etc. using .2 kanthal on the mesh wick that came with it. Edit think the mesh was causing the short doh

Have since tried silica (ok but occasionally got dry hits) the micro cool and cotton first build burnt the cotton cause it wasn't wicking properly, rewicked and removed the o ring under the chimney and now it's awesome!
