Hi, have been alerted to the fact that some e liquids contain something like Benzine - not good! How can I tell that my e liquids are made from good ingredients and are as pure as they can possibly be? Most of the on line vendors don't seem to emphasize the contents of their liquids or give any reassurance that the contents are harmless. It worries me.

emmita - I'm sure that most if not all of the juice vendors recommended on this forum are respectable and deal only in good quality pharma grade ingredients and juices mixed to the highest standards of regulation and hygiene. You might run into problems if you buy from eBay, which technically still prohibit juice and e-cig sales, although some vendors have got around this, but as long as you buy in this country you should be assured of quality and safety.

Small punt for my favourite juice vendor (Vapology), but I'm sure most? are the same.
"E-liquid on this site is produced from all EU/US; BP/USP grade ingredients. Ingredients for e-liquid are flavourings, PG, VG, nicotine, and a little distilled water."
One thing I've found with juice - find a small vendor that mixes their own juice - it's worth the money.
I've tried the mass produced cheap stuff (Chinese) and haven't like any of it.

Thanks for the replies. I was buying some pharma grade liquid today in Spain and the assistant advised not to buy any Chinese liquids as they can contain Benzine.........so this prompted my question. Happy to know the standards in the UK are good as I'll be topping up again on my return.

Hangsen & Dekang are Chinese E liquids
The respectable UK Eliquid firms that use Hangsen & Dekang have them checked by Swiss company SGS (I think that's the name)
So putting a different slant on it . . . .The UK produced Eliquid could be much less "tested" than some of the imported Chinese stuff.....
Just make sure whoever you get the liquid from is a respected supplier
Hope this helps emmita

Sometimes PG is used in cheap Anti-Freeze, and much confusion has stemmed from this, Indeed, when vaping first became popular there were thousands of posts on the web claiming that the liquids contained anti-freeze. Hangsen Liquids have certification on their contents and safety. Try those if you are still unsure. Jag. (Safety first is sensible ...)
