I am using the Aspire, straight out the box, no cleaning, no stripping down and no leaking. I am vaping with a Tzmax and I am using 70/30 Royal tobacco e-juice and although I did experience some condensation about mid afternoon, this cleared itself after a couple of tokes. I have now been using the Aspire since lunchtime, about 9 hours now on 6w and the battery is lasting well. Indeed I am so pleased with this unit that it is goodbye Viva Novas and come to me, Aspires!!!! lobeydosser can I ask what wattage would you vape at with a single coil atty? The reason I ask is that I would usually find my sweet spot with a single coil around 6 watts but with a dual coil iclear30 I need to up it to around 9 - 10 watts. I was wondering if the Aspire would be the same. I normally stick fairly closely between 7.5 and 8w on a single coil Protank/Davide and I've been using the Davide BDC at 8w and its giving me the desired results - much higher and I get burnt notes the same as I do on a single coil.

@freefromsmoking, richo71, dreamylittledream thanks for all your help and advise.....much appreciated The problem is now solved. Filled it up again and left it to soak until 2330 hours and the same leaking issues happened Changed to a new coil and let it satnd until midnight and no leaking I can only assume that the pre-installed coil was a DOA Griff

@freefromsmoking thanks for the tip.
Funny thing that I only noticed this morning that after it had been through the ultrasonic cleaner, (water from the hot tap + 2 drops of washing-up liquid), it had stripped the "aspire BDC" logo off the bottom of the stainless steel tube. It looks better without it IMHO.
Just a heads up for those going to put it through an ultrasonic cleaner that you may lose the logo

Pro-tip : if they gurgle, add more juice, basically you want the juice at least over the height of the atomizer. I know that sounds strange since gurgle usually means flooding but I think it's down to air pressure and your sucking needing to create a mini-vacuum, too much air in the tank = broken vacuum, maybe.

Could well be googled ... I have got into the habit of never filling above 3/4 full and refilling at 1/4 full ... it reduces the capacity of the tank to a half but avoids any possibility of gurgling and leaking.

Day two on the Aspire and now using it at 5w. Less throat hit and vapour but still plenty for me. Still loads of taste. Battery doing okay and should last till bedtime which is good enough for me.
Now I just need to know how long the atomiser lasts before deciding whether to dump the Mini Nova in favour of the Aspire.

I've been using mine this afternoon side by side with a nova with the same juice. Got to be honest and say there isn't a marked increase in flavour or vapour for myself, but then this might change with another tank being put through it. Will hold fire on changing my Novas over.

That's seriously low, I'd end up chugging on an exhaust pipe if I vaped at that for a quick fix

This is true, I don't let them get any less than a third of a tank, fuller the better, which is not the case with all tanks

Ordered one on Thursday, I got mine on Friday, installed coil not making contact on my TZ-Max, a bit of "fettling" with the centre pin and still no go...... Put one of the other coils in and got it to fire, a couple of pulls then the gurgling started with juice dripping out of the 510 connector. Put the original coil back in with the centre pin pulled out a bit and it fires, 2 pulls and gurgling I ran out of time then, put it back i the box. Just got it out again, giving all parts a bath and I'll try it again but first impressions are not that good..................... Using Red Astaire mixed by myself 60PG/40VG

I take it all back!!!
Third day and its Rubbish. Had to up the wattage to 10w in the morning to get anything out of it and by mid afternoon I was up to 15w.
Now have a new coil in and we are back at 5w, but if a coil is only going to last two days, I'd be cheaper back on the fags.
I will carry on for now as I have the 3 coils that came with it plus 3 extra I bought. However with Viva Nova coils lasting 3 weeks, Aspire has a long ways to go before it will compete with that.
