There is obviously some quality assurance problems with the production of this, mine worked fine out of the box. Probably not what you want to hear Des

Personally I think that the original design that had 4 holes in it was nearer the mark than the "new"??? 2 hole design and that perhaps 3 holes would be better. Certainly after 2 days mine are dry burning and foul tasting, as if they are not wicking enough liquid.
I am really disappointed in the Aspire, because it started so well, but went downhill exceptionally quickly in use.
Oh well, when this one fails I can always go back to the VN.

My Novas are always the fall back plan for me. I've had the same five since I upgraded from a skycig over a year ago. Keep trying the new clearos that are brought out but always find myself back to the Novas.

Really not having issues with these, still using the coils that came plugged into the units, the 3.5ml tank works fine if there is plenty of juice in the tank. The ego sized tank I can vape dry with no issues and performs really well on a standard ego battery with a tube beauty ring to cover the threads. The ego size is definately the better design of the two, no leaking on either.

Well that is the second head that has died after 2 days.
Brilliant vape for 2 days, then very little draw and a burnt taste.
I have 5 heads and I will use all 5, but after that it will go in the bin.
Using the same e-juice and the same wattage, a Viva Nova head will last 3 weeks, minimum.

No matter what juice I put in I just get the taste of spearmint So it has now gone in the bin as all coils have been used without success and I don`t intend trying again with more coils Griff

Well ...... well ...... well ........ Could it be that the Aspire is not all it is cracked up to be? Was Todd having an off day? Is Tesco better than Asda? All will be revealed, this thread, same time, everyday. Jag. (I might even tune in ..........)

Hi Jaguar7777, I think Todd was perhaps testing the Aspire in much the way I was in that during its first two days it is, just as he said, bloody wonderful. But, I am afraid by day 3 it goes downhill very rapidly. Once I have a fair few duds, I will stick them in the cleaner and see if that revives them, but I ain't holding my breath.

You are probably right. However, as someone who worked in the field of Consumer reviews as a freelance writer I know only too well that you need at least a weeks use to give a valid opinion on almost everything. Except .............. condoms .... for rather obvious reasons. Jag. (Glad to be retired early from the rat race .....)

Tried mine out on Sunday after my usual pre-use strip down, inspection and wash routine. The first head was duff ... showed correct resistance but zero air getting through. Second head was fitted and it has been vaping like a champ ever since ... no dry hits, leaks or gurgling. The vape to me is just perfect and very similar to my favourite clearo the iclear30. Being a bottom coil clearo, one advantage over the iclear is that a SS drip tip does not heat up when chain vaping. Other than the quality control issue with the heads I am well impressed.

Any reason to prefer it to the iClear30(S) in your opinion?

As an Evod lover and seeing these being hailed as the evod killer I bought 2 of the bdc Glassomizers. The only way these will kill an evod is if it dies laughing at how shite they are. Crap draw, crap vape production, no flavour. I've tried various juices/tricks and no joy, I think it's a air flow issue with this particular type and they have a long skirt, a good 6/7 turns more than an evod to connect. Being the mug I am I'm going to try a 510 fitting one.
