Hey all,
I recently purchased an Innokin iTaste SVD on eBay which came with a 4.2v 650mah wall wart + charging block, Panasonic 2ah 18650 battery and a Kamry ICR 18650 2ah battery.
The batteries arrived partially charged and since then have run out. They have been on the charging block for upto 12 hours supervised but the light won't change from red to green to indicate full charge. I've measured the charging block and it's outputting 4.23v @ 630mah. The batteries both measure at 4.23v. But when put into the SVD, the button glows red indicating low power and the screen reads 0.0A?
Any ideas?

Excellent Sam. Be interesting to see how the batteries behave in that . . .

@samv I hope I'm wrong, but here's an idea: The batteries and the charger are fine, and the reason the SVD is on eBay............? As I say, I hope your nitecore sorts it out for you

Double check your batteries are measuring 4.2 volts. I suspect you may have measured in the charger and where actually measuring tehchrger volts. Are the charger contacts making connection with the batteries? @samv You had the svd working so it is low on the suspect list. I really suspect the charger is not making contact with the batteries, despite you saying you measured the batteries.

The Nitecore managed to fully charge the batteries within an hour. I measured the resistance of the tank atty and that indeed does seem to be the problem, it was measuring as 0, I replaced the coil in the tank and it was working again. So problem sorted I guess.
Out of interest I chucked them both back in the charging block that came with and they still aren't registering as fully charged.

some attys the base positive is tad to short,my arashi[same as Aga t etc] forever slips back flush with the base vamo no problem Svd hit or miss mvp again hit or miss ,maybe slight tweak of center pin may help, find with nitcore its best to leave for at least an hour, you will find removing them it drops charge thats normal on batts as it goes to its base voltage there charger basic gave the battery a bit of omphhh and then they settle
Dont for get if you want to change from volt to watts[better option] hold fire button and right side button from screen, dunno if its just me but after vaping for a bit you will find it auto locks that setting

Yep wattage gives you more control too. I measured using a multimeter so it wasn't a sunken in pin sadly.
